This was so fun! My first dlc shiny was an isolated Slugma encounter. I actually stepped on the shiny before I saw it, because it blended in so well. Next day I got a Slugma outbreak, and was jumping over the shiny when I saw it. Then I evolved it and discovered Magcargo is bright pink. So many fun Pokémon in this dlc. One day, you will reclaim poor Ducklett.
For the female Jangmo-o, if you REALLY wanted the love ball I’d do this: Check if it’s female Exit battle and save Use false swipe + male Pokémon Reload save if it doesn’t work That’s how I got my fem. Kommo-o :D
Yeah tbh I just kinda wing it. In my last shiny video I didn’t even use a false swiper. I used up like 10 johto balls trying to catch Pokémon at full hp 😭
Shiny iron mith is one that disappointed me but my adoration for volcarona makes up for it lol. Its not horrible i just wish the orange wings turned yellow like regular volcarona and slither wing, and the abdomen purple like their's too. Would have been perfect

When it comes to shinies that are recognized as bad but I still like, the number one shiny in my mind is Magcargo. Is it weird and stupid that shiny Slugma, an ash gray shiny, suddenly turns Pepto Bismol pink when it evolves into Magcargo? Yes, it is. Do I care? Not at all. Is the fact that shiny Magcargo looks like Pepto Bismol the reason I've wanted one for so long and had my first DLC shiny hunt be for a Slugma just so I could evolve it and finally have a shiny Magcargo that I specifically named Pepto Bismol? You'd better believe it was. I find Pepto Bismol Magcargo so much funnier than I probably should, and as such it's one of my favorite shinies. Especially when it comes to ones most people agree are bad.
Sow cited to get the DLC and as soon as I do I’m NOT giving up on getting the slightly different shaded tadpole: POLIWAG so I can evolve it straight into Politoad the amazing :) BUT if not that DEFINITELY sentret for the shiny that could’ve made the barbie movie. Lol seeing the Spoink hunt makes me giggle cause a few days ago I found a shiny Spoink whilst trying to capture a duskull for my dex, and then like two hours later in paradise barrens I found YET AGAIN another Shiny Spoink on a dragon encounter sandwich trying to hunt for Jangmo-O
@@Oshawaves I absolutely had pink piggy luck, as well as Shiny spinarak luck in between. Heck I even had luck finding shiny Furret, lotad, and eventually Jangmo-O all without having any Herbs cause my internet was being mad funky the whole time
oh my God, my shiny slugma in Pokémon go is called (slugma) Balls and my shiny gulpins name is Deez! my husband couldn’t stop laughing because he did not think of it at all. I thought I was the only person. 🤣🤣

There are plenty of tutorials on how to shiny hunt in this game! It's really simple, as for articuno. I transfered this from pokemon sword to home and then into this game! :D
I got shiny slugma on my 5 fire sandwiches evoluted it into Mackargo, shiny Hawlucha took 9 fighting sandwiches 5 dark sandwiches for shiny Maschiff, 3 sandwiches for shiny Murkrow evoluted into Honchkrow, surprise trade I got shiny Eevee evoluted it into Vaporeon and I got random shiny encounter Sylveon that's my shiny team for Pokemon Violet and Scarlet Shiny team is shiny Trevenant, shiny Sudowoodo,Shiny Pawmot, Shiny Krookodile, Shiny Cramorant one water sandwich and shiny Typhlosion teams are that way to match the colors with Pokemon on their game covers cases
yeah, will 100% have one for the next video. Believe it or not in my first video didn't even have a false swiper. just kept throwing balls until i eventually caught whatever i had found. I lost SO MANY apricorn balls in the process though :,)

@@Oshawaves I just save before the encounter and if a special ball fails, I just reset. That way you can't fail a shiny unless you want to fail it.
