The detail of the jumping magikarp is lovely. Some may not realise but the magikarps in the crown tundra did the same jump, so nintendo has made a jumping magiakrp easter egg.
Did anybody notice how Shiny Dipplin's Syrup Bomb attack sprays yellow syrup instead of red?
They actually put some thought and detail into that attack.
Idk if there are any other examples, but Dragapult's shiny shoots shiny dreepy when using dragon darts. I hope that becomes the norm for more shiny Pokémon and moves...it's a cool detail and it looks awesome.
@@zeked4200I think for signature moves they’ll continue to do that. I don’t think we should be expecting shiny Rapidash’s flare blitz to be blue though😅 (as amazing as that would be).
@@zeked4200 Also, shiny Blacephalon launches a blue head. A shiny Smergle using Mind Blown will also launch a blue head.

I watched a bunch of these streams, but my favorite part was absolutely Hat Trick. What you can’t see is how quickly those THREE pachirisu showed up, in comparison to every other shiny hunt he did, it was wild.
Chat was of two minds about actually using it, but we all popped off whenever it actually did something useful, instead of being OHKO’d 😂

The real mask was amazing, but I just used my level 100 team. It was fun sweeping everything with torch song Skeledrige, but I will definitely be using a new team for the indigo disk

I changed my team for this using pokemon caught from tera raids. Haven't gotten very far yet to say how much fun it'll be, but I already have plans for a shiny team for Part 2
Kommo-o is a must-have with that kind of shiny.

I actually ended up doing the same shiny team thing for my playthrough, even starting with a Shiny Applin with a mark. In fact, your team was very similar to mine! My team consisted of Applin, Conkeldurr, Empoleon (I transferred from PLA cause I was too lazy to huny Feebas), Vikavolt, Mamoswine (with the exact same mark!), and Chandelure (which I hunted after beating the DLC lol). I even did the Ogerpon battle in a similar way by using my Applin to beat the other three masks after Hearthflame. Great video overall!
I really liked the Dlc and watching you play it. I am SO excited for the indigo disc with that... cliffhanger

what an awesome collection of shinies. And the DLC brought us so cool Pokemon for shinies like Chandelure and Trevenant. I enjoyed the DLC even if I feel so sorry for Kieran. I mean I have two Koraidon, an event Mew, The treasures of ruins, dozens of shinies like an Abomasnow and Arcanine and I still take the Ogerpon. But it's so cute I dont feel too bad

I did this exact same challenge throughout the entire pokemon violet game, during the teal mask I ended with

Rotom (I kept one shiny from paldea)

I used a brand new team for the Teal Mask and was so much fun, a bit of a challenge but fun. Dipplin really surprised me at how good it was. Can't wait for Indigo Disk. I may even try toshiny hunt Beldom in hopes of using shiny Metagross on the playthrough
You better have a master ball ready for beldum because otherwise it's going to be an absolute pain to catch with it's horrendous catch rate.
Think pokemon you've already caught have a higher catch chance so it shouldnt be too painful with repeat balls
@@souperhappydrinkingcoffee5130 even if that's true, beldum would still be a pain to catch regardless because of its crappy catch rate even with ultra balls or timer balls.

Glad you got shiny Chandelure, it's my favorite Pokemon! This is also my first time seeing it in the DLC and the fact that it spins when attacking makes me so happy :)

I also started with a new team, ended up with in order of catching:
- Leavanny
- Mienshoa
- Mamoswine
- Kommo-o
- Chandalure
- Milotic
Edit: (Honorable mentions)
- Dipplin (switched for Kommo-o)
- Sinistcha-Masterpiece (switched for Chandalure)
- Vikavolt (switched for Milotic)
- Magcargo (I tried, but he was aweful)

Catching shinies in Quick Balls makes my heart hurt.
I love that he says it'd be stupid to not sandwich, meanwhile I caught 6 shiny authentic sinistea in a day without it, just using the boosted outbreak odds. when you sub, you get more shinies, so many you don't even NEED sandwiches!
I also did a shiny only playthrough, since my main story team was level 100. My team ended up being Dipplin, Furret, Chimecho, Quagsire, Ninetales, and Yanmega.
Imagine how pm7’s Next door neighbors every time he gets a shiny. Imagine them going too sleep when John starts recording with Mikey or something and he gets like 50 shines and every time he yells in excitement when finding a shiny it wakes them up,😂😂 lol.

This is how I did my playthrough of Teal Mask too. My team was Dipplin, Yanmega, Kamo-o, Probopass, Mamoswine, and Chandrelure. Then I just decided to ONLY catch shiny pokemon for the dex. Still working on it

I did the DLC with a shiny team too. Brought in my Iron Valiant and just looked around randomly for a bunch of shinies. Ended up with Iron Valiant, Mightyena, Staraptor, Sinistcha, Sandslash, and Chimecho.

I also did this with only shiny Pokémon! But I used the ones I caught in paldea and it was fun! Haven’t gotten any shinies in the dlc yet though. I also got a shiny Dipplin!
