I know what you mean. It's taken me 7 years to try to push through and work on fixing things in my life. I still don't understand what's wrong with me or why I feel like this, but I'm struggling every day to just feel a little bit better or improve my situation a little at a time. Some days I feel like an absolute failure, but I know if I just keep trying, somehow I will make it through. I believe we will both get through this, keep your chin up battle.
We all feel the same way. Watched good people, good friends, die for nothing fighting for a country that doesn't know or care, and for a handful of rich old boomers who never cared about 'winning' in the first place. Came home to find the country turned into a vapid economic zone with plummeting quality of life, no borders, and nothing to believe in or hold up as a unifying identity anymore. Scratching by even in 'skilled labor' just trying to make it to the next day while a handful of people who live like gods go out of their way to make life harder and crappier for everyone else, robbing us of freedom and privacy through tech and bureaucracy. Every day I can't help but ask myself why any of us even bother, or tolerate it. This country is utterly finished and I hope people wake up enough to at least replace this country with something better rather than leave it all in the hands of a small group that hates us and views us as cattle.

I am 33 years old and my husband and I live in Louisiana as self sustainable as possible by growing and putting up our own food, and living very unplugged from the mainstream. Just 2 country people that married young and raised each other and don't have a lot of friends just our little church family. My spirit and soul is just tired and it longs for home. Living with my in-laws because it's impossible to find a home in his market, doing everything I possibly can for my wife and my family. Working 50+ hour weeks and going to school part time in my 30's. I want to go home, but home doesn't sound like home. This lingering war is a constant reminder that I may have to leave my family again shortly and I'm stuck in this loop of doing what I need to do and failing to be there for my wife. I know what you mean. It's taken me 7 years to try to push through and work on fixing things in my life. I still don't understand what's wrong with me or why I feel like this, but I'm struggling every day to just feel a little bit better or improve my situation a little at a time. Some days I feel like an absolute failure, but I know if I just keep trying, somehow I will make it through. I believe we will both get through this, keep your chin up battle.
We all feel the same way. Watched good people, good friends, die for nothing fighting for a country that doesn't know or care, and for a handful of rich old boomers who never cared about 'winning' in the first place. Came home to find the country turned into a vapid economic zone with plummeting quality of life, no borders, and nothing to believe in or hold up as a unifying identity anymore. Scratching by even in 'skilled labor' just trying to make it to the next day while a handful of people who live like gods go out of their way to make life harder and crappier for everyone else, robbing us of freedom and privacy through tech and bureaucracy.
Every day I can't help but ask myself why any of us even bother, or tolerate it. This country is utterly finished and I hope people wake up enough to at least replace this country with something better rather than leave it all in the hands of a small group that hates us and views us as cattle.

It’s really eye opening to see and read how many people are in so much pain. Spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. So many are fed up with this new world. Growing up in the 80s and 90s was such a blessing. I’m 45. I can’t imagine how people older than me feel about it. It’s like living in a bad dream. Mostly nightmares. All of my hope, praise and honor be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!

Many people would claim that being black would exclude you from being a fan of this music, in order to either denigrate country music or to invalidate the messages they carry.
Good R&B is all about soul, and that's not hard to miss in music like this, even in a different genre. It'll draw in people from all kinds of different music preferences when it's that authentic.

I have my old dogs and farm in tack! I have their backs like they have had mine! I just walked my baby girl in the front yard at 2:55 in the morning while watching and listening to this song again countless times. I can't stand the thought of losing her. I am in the US Army and currently on my 9th month of deployment somewhere in the middle east. This song hits, I want to go home. I miss my wife and I miss my dog. I'm scared to go home at the same time, going back to my job and struggling to pay my bills and survive. Living with my in-laws because it's impossible to find a home in his market, doing everything I possibly can for my wife and my family. Working 50+ hour weeks and going to school part time in my 30's. I want to go home, but home doesn't sound like home. This lingering war is a constant reminder that I may have to leave my family again shortly and I'm stuck in this loop of doing what I need to do and failing to be there for my wife. I just want to go home. I just want a home.

Then, when everyone had given uo their basic human rights, the brutality by the socialist regimes began and MILLIONS DIED. Same formula every time.
