I've said it before and will again, this is the real Zydeco dancing right here..Never get tired of looking at this great couple, doing it like it's supposed to be done..Great stuff..
Lots of Louisiana people migrated to California and brought their culture with them. Years ago several neighborhoods in L.A. were litteraly "little Louisianas" with the catholic creole culture being very prevalent. Used to zydeco all the time at local catholic church auditoriums in SoCal to Clifton Cheiner and other traveling bands. Long live zydeco and the creole culture!
You all groove really great together in sync...Love It! I'm from St. Martinville and never really got the hang of Zydeco but can do a little 2 step of my own. Keep showing the World what Zydeco Dancing is really like. Love you energy!
The original Turn on Your Love Light was recorded by Bobby "Blue" Bland in 1959. It's a standard among bands that play R&B. The Blues Brothers and the Grateful Dead have both covered this song (along with a million others). Great song. Chuck The accordion is adding a really nice flair to the basic riff.
