Maude FREAKS OUT After Seeing Chucky on the Red Carpet!

- It's at the Eyegor Awards for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. Interviewer Maude Garrett (The Hot Hits, Geek Bomb) opens up about how Chucky scared the bajeezus out of her when she last went into a House of Horrors & ended up developing a legitimate fear of the doll-sized killer. Leigh points out there's a Chucky roaming the carpet and Maude has a complete meltdown.

His main trait is being sarcastic so he of course kept on joking about it but you can tell he was concerned haha I feel bad for her but this was hilarious because of every way he reacts haha
Man I was torn between feeling really bad for her and wanting the guy to continue making it worse.

I can relate. I was horrified of anything chucky was I was very young. The very sound of his name sent shivers down my spine and my heart would start beating incredibly fast if I saw him. I even had nightmares of chucky murdering my mom in hell one day and that really stuck with me. I've grown now and I'm not afraid anymore, but it was very interesting to see what a child could go through and Maude clearly hasn't gotten over the fear.

I have a lot of admiration for you posting this - This is stuff I try to bury.
It was cool that the guy tried to salvage the situation, but when the fear kicks in, you loose your sense of self and reason.

Leigh Whannell Seems Like He Should Be On The Walking Dead and Be One of The Surviving Characters When The Series Ends
Maude, you're super awesome and I love that you have this particular phobia. Having fears are one of the things that keeps us humble and allows us to bond with others over said fears. With that being said and knowing that you are a video game buff I would pay money to see you play Five Nights at Freddy's. That game didn't really scare me but it did have some very creepy moments and i've seen a few livestreams of people playing the game who freaked out a bit at times at some of the jump scares. I know that John Campea couldn't even get through the game because it was too creepy for him.
That guy she was interviewing was hilarious.

I get scared easily too because I'm first generation from Mexican immigrants and so my I didn't really celebrate Halloween but I like to be scared but only if I'm with my friends. I also like scaring people (just my friends) but more of a jump scare, if they cry then I would offer a hug and apologize or I will think about it for the rest of the day and feel so guilty. I would've liked to just go there and give you a hug because I felt so bad even though I would've been scared too.

I relate to this. I have an intense fear of dolls, so while there may not have been tears, there would have been a very large man running and screaming. Porcelain dolls are the worst though. They'll leave me fetal and screaming.

I most definitely understand and relate to her fear!! I'm terrified of clowns, to the point that even the really nice ladies who do face painting at fairs who are dressed up like clowns give me panic attacks. I react the exact same way with any type of clown!

I totally understand the fear. I have a friend who freaks out at any creepy crawly things and it doesn't matter even if its not real. I have a fake rubber snake and she knows its rubber but still she freaks out whenever she sees it or when it falls on her.

I can only imagine if he met my mom’s friend who has the same reaction to the Saw puppet. My sister had that reaction to the grudge girl. Some ppl just have those crazy phobias to certain things for whatever reason :(
