Hot water kills microfibers, it melts fibers of the towel if the water is too hot. Wqrm should be ok but your towel will start to get hard and lose its absorbance the more you do it. Wash them in warm with a white vinegar in the bleach bottle with your choice of detergent, whethere its a dedicated microfiber detergent or tide free and gentle or other and do not use fabric softener, dryer sheets, or bleach. They will clog the towels and the bleach will damage the fibers. You also want your towels to be a bit staticy, helps them pick up and hold like theyre designed to do
Whoaaaaa. I actually have a bottle on the way to try out. I have the same sentiments as you regarding RTR. I adopted it early on, stuck with it due to pleasant smell and performing better than MicroRestore and never tried looking for anything else even though I never truly felt it brought my towels back after using ceramic sprays and sometimes even leaving behind streaky residue on my glass towels even though being very cautious of my wash and drying process. So I'm excited to try this out when it arrives.
@@brandonnixon7105 I do. I used to use Rinseless in bucket or R2R on really dirty stuff but mostly rinseless. I’ve been using Details Cos Microfiber wash last week. And also in the wash. Really good stuff.
I do sometimes.. like if I’m doing a whole car and I know I’m going to wash my rags tomorrow I’ll put them in a bucket to soak. My old washer had a soak cycle so I would do that first and then do the wash cycle. The new one doesn’t, so I’ll need to adjust a bit I think
I do it. I've never had to worry about throwing a towel out after I use a spray sealant or even a coating. I soak them in an APC. Helps with staining and breaking down any LSP Yvan from DIY Detail's advice is always good advice.
Have you tried Micro Restore? I wonder how each compares. I am just about finished with my Gallon of Micro Restore, I have a gallon of R2R ready and waiting but might have to try Renaissance at some point soon.
From what i understand all of their blends are their own. I don't work for them, all i know is their stuff is completely different than Clean or DIY in performance (the two companies that most people are suggesting they are white labelling)
@@williamsanders1296 no they aren’t in the garage mixing up stuff in buckets lol. They are not chemists. They are also much more than figure heads. They are the ones testing the products and giving direction to the chemists. Can u make it slicker with this scent. It needs to do this etc. They are picking and choosing what products will be in their line up.
damn you! 😆 i was hoping to make the first vid with detail co. renaissance … still gonna make the vid but, kudos, you did it first. great vid my dude. ren smells great and performs like a champ 👍🏽🐿️💨

Great video man! btw what’s your drying process?
i use a milwaukee m18 blower to get the large puddles off, then a gauntlet for the first pass and a FTW with drying aid as the final
Just picked up a gallon today looking forward to testing it out
