      I think when they programmed the worlds, they only made a couple of spawning points when you enter the game so they all use the same ones. Why the just didn't bake the distance into the course and throw people the extra points beyond me.

      @@EverythingIsPhotogenic hey, a few extra miles never hurts, but when it is a big portion of the route , it’s not making a lot of sense. Ride on!

      Hi, I think what you're asking for is in this video: studio.th-cam.com/users/videoJY_g8fGUoF4/comments go to the timesamp 12:19. The chapters are in the description and in the pinned comment as well. The chapter is called "How to read the map" if that is not what you're looking for, let me know, I will try to help

    is there a way to know what courses you've already done (to avoid duplication and therefore wasted effort)?

      In the menu screen there is a blue button on the right hand side that says badges. It will show you all the badges you have completed including courses.

  • @pwilliamssa

    Is it true if you do a training session at the same time as a completing a course you get more points?

    • @EverythingIsPhotogenic
      @EverythingIsPhotogenic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends. For free ride intervals, you earn 5XP per minute. Interval blocks that are not free ride will earn you 12XP per minute. If you only get a half start you only get 70% of the points and if you don't get any of the star, you drop to 1XP per minute. It really shakes down to how much distance you cover. If you are riding 20MPH or 32KPH or slower on a workout that you will hit all your stars on, you'll do a little better. If you're moving faster than that, you will lose out on some points. It looks like you get an advantage because all the points dump in at the end instead of as you ride when you do a workout. You will not earn mileage points at all in a workout. Long story short, Workouts are probably not the best way to earn XP, especially for men who tend to have more raw watts that make them faster.

      @@EverythingIsPhotogenic I do the same. You think you can share some of your training strategies. During the winter. Example Base Training, intervals etc.would like your insight. I use TrainingPeaks. Just want another perspective. I did 18,000km on Zwift this year feel a bit burnt but at 49 with a history of heart Failure due to my US Army. Military service I feel good . But I do limit myself . Example will never put my HR at 170. That’s my main rule. Current FTP is just 230. Hoping to improve to 250 in the next six months. Thanks Sarah the funny lady

      @@bnfrl2010 I actually have some ideas I'll be putting up soon especially around base training and off-season work as everyone gets back to the grind after the new year. Part of that is that I really want to dig into some of the zwift workouts and get some recommendations together for people for structured workouts to sprinkle in. I use trainerroad so I'm not up to date on all the Zwift workouts available but I know most people don't want to pay for a second platform so I want to find some of the better ones in the game that people can just use as a turnkey approach. I'm not the biggest fan of the Zwift plans, I just don't think they're flexible enough for real life and they aren't periodized very well. Consistency in anything will make people stronger and faster but it might not be the most efficient or productive way to improve. I see so many people get jammed up after they miss a workout or start getting burned out and they don't know how to adjust, I think I want to fame it around the purpose of each without and how people should divide their time based on how many hours they available to ride and their goal as an athlete. Im still hammering the idea around in my head but want to get that up in the next 1-2 weeks
