7:20 I made a mistake, the I glued the 4 stacks of foam to the nose without carving into it. So I will have to do it later. How many layers of foam do you carve? Two, three?

Really nice scale look for bering foam. Instead of struts you can cover the wings with brown Kraft paper. Then you can even paint it with spray paint to a high gloss :)

This is a great build!! I will definitely be building it. There was one thing I didn’t get in the build video though, when building the engine cowling it seemed like there is not enough of the threaded portion of the motor to attach a propeller to. Did you use some sort of extension to attached the propeller? Much appreciated, thanks!

Hello Julius, i wanted to make atr 72 as a project but unfortunately depron/polyfoam board is not availabe anywhere near me, so i just wanted to ask if I could use sunboard instead of it? if not please suggest me some other alternative. thanks.

@@JuliusPerdana Yes, they're very similar but the Mooney has pretty distinct look: The tail feather, low profile appearance and sportier style cowl such as the Acclaim Ultra. I guess one could convert a Cherokee to look like a Mooney!

peel off the paper of elmers foam board, and you get depron subsitute for 1/4 of the price of genuine depron.

I am not aware of sunboard, is it an XPS foam? If it is so its the same as polyfoam / depron

yes you can with some modification on the former, you need to make the former a bit larger on each side, 2mm
