I love everything about your channel. Great workmanship, instruction and free plans. You are what makes this hobby awesome. I'm a definite subscriber and thumbs up every video I see. You deserve it.
Hello Julius, I am again impressed with the beautiful airplane that you show the world. beautiful in all aspects, your genius has no limits. Thank you so much for teaching us your art with such dedication and care. a thousand greetings from Bogota Colombia, you are appreciated
Well done Julius I really like this Piper, very nice achievement. it is my favorite. Again and again a big thank you for sharing the plans as well as the video. See you soonBravo Julius j'aime beaucoup ce Piper, très belle réalisation. c'est mon préféré. Encore et toujours un grand merci pour le partage des plans ainsi que la vidéo. A bientôt
You have made a very useful video of a beautiful model of Piper Cub J3. Surely top example of how to build a beautiful looking foam-board scale R/C model aircraft. Good job.
After 30 seconds if the video I downloaded the plans.... Hell yeah, this is a must build, never in my life thought I could do it.... But thanks to your video, I am able to build a cheap plane that looks beautiful ❤❤❤💯✊🏼
i'm admirative in front of your skill.. I build rc models from scratch since 1982 but i think will never be able to be as sharp as you are at cutting free hand ... Congratulations for that lovely bird !
And two years later im starting to build this model as my first build i have ever done. before this i've only had bind and fly eflight timbers, anyway just mounted the motor today getting some progress done between work and other stuff love the j3 absolutely awesome plane.😊
Congratulations, you are giveing modelist a new perspective in how to build or, may be, how to mix tradicional model building with this interesting option you are showing. And also, building with this technics, save lots of money, due to tha fact that those material you use are easy to find anywere. Thanks for shareing your knowledge.
Really nice scale look for bering foam. Instead of struts you can cover the wings with brown Kraft paper. Then you can even paint it with spray paint to a high gloss :)
Ya sir we can build it by seeing the video and planes , and video quality is ok. Next project DC part 3, and then hope next will be mirage 2000. By the all the best for further creations.
You are amazing sir. I love your craftsmanship and the way you build. Thanks a lot. Can I use a2212 instead of dys 2826? Their specs look similar. Thanks again.
Greetings Julius, awesome airplane and vídeo, thank you for sharing. Cubs are always difficult to land, they are stubborn planes that don't want to land. Cheers.
Hi thank you so much for this great vidéo. Can you confirm that the spar (wing connector) is made of 3 x 3mm plywood glued together. On the plan the space for it is 9 mm so I guess so
Good afternoon Julius, Vincent here from Betong, Sarawak, Malaysia. your skills are the best...wounderful DIY....skills. i am flying the same size of battery foam planes as this video. Very hopeful to see more videos from you.
Good afternoon Don Julius I congratulate you on your planes are excellent and incidentally helps people who do not know, at some point you have thought about making a Embraer EMB-312 Tucano Thank you ...
Julius, a question: if the wingspan is 130cm and the wing area is 24.8 dm2, then the wing chord should be19cm, but according to plans, W9 wing base is 23+ cm long! Anyway the available room from the windshield and the fuselaje at F7 is around 19cm.
This is a great build!! I will definitely be building it. There was one thing I didn’t get in the build video though, when building the engine cowling it seemed like there is not enough of the threaded portion of the motor to attach a propeller to. Did you use some sort of extension to attached the propeller? Much appreciated, thanks!
Sir I'm watching your video's everyday and those are very interesting.sir, I have following questions to clear.pls answer 1. When we're making RC plane "dihedral angle" iis need to compulsory ? 2. Should the dihedral angle be applied to both sides of the plane's wings? 3. What is your idea about "moter mounting angle? Thanks.
Hi sir, u work is amazing and all models u made are beautiful and superbbb to flying. Please make the Spitfire model also having wingspan around 1400mm with all plan details and tutorial video. I shall be very thankful.
Great final result, really like the livery ! Rather than using a hot knife on the hot melt glue for the cowl, just dribble some Isopropyl alcohol ( IPA or rubbing alcohol) on the joint - it will peel off in a few seconds - great for removing misteaks too 🙂🙂 BTW, how long before the depron well dries up, we can no longer get large sheets of white in the UK.
Hi Julius, how are you? My name is Célio and I am one of the subscribers on your TH-cam channel. I'm starting now in electric aeromodelling and I really liked the J3 - Piper Cub RC model you made. I would like to ask you a question, in fact it is an orientation regarding the electrical part. I bought an A2212 motor - 2450KV, a FlySky FS-i6X radio and the 10 channel receiver. I'm going to build the Piper and saw that you used a Lipo 3S 2200mah battery on the plane. The question is: Is this battery 11.1V? Does it power the motor and receiver as well? The receiver works with 5V. Is there a way to reduce the battery voltage to 5V to power the receiver? Could you help me with this setup? I really appreciate your help. Hugs. Célio Neto - Minas Gerais/Brazil.
that 2450kv motor can't be used for this Cub, you need 1000-1400kv motor. Do not power your receiver directly from battery. Beside motor and battery you need an ESC, I mentioned ESC too on the spec. Receiver is powered by 5v that comes from ESC. The setup will be like this : Battery to ESC, ESC to motor, ESC to receiver, servos will be connected to the receiver as well
@@JuliusPerdana Perfect Julius. I forgot to mention... there's a 40 ESC I bought too. Is the A2212 engine weak for this model? I didn't understand. Thank you for your attention. Celium.
@@DinizCelio the size is okay, 2212 is the size of the motor, but the KV is too high, too much RPM less torque, it needs 9-10 inch prop which suitable for 1000-1200KV motor, yours is 2450KV, too high. The ESC is useable, its okay.
@@JuliusPerdana Okay Julius. I will provide the 1000 or 1400Kv motor. Thanks. I'm currently watching your video about the aircraft carrier you made. Sensational! Congratulations!
