In this video we are going make my first scale rc plane ( piper cub j3). I'm work on this from last two & hall month finally it completed.
But during second flight it crashed, I will be try to repair as like first one & upload it's flight video.

reminds me to good old days of the RC Hobby. Pure fun to build with simple tools. Today is all about CNC maschinerie, 3D printing, laminating carbon etc.
Glad to see that there is still the heritage around. Love to see the old brushed motor as a drill

This is really amazing.
I build a Piper J3 Cub in 1995 by using Carl Goldberg plan. I used plywood, balsa and covered the airframe with Topflite monokote.

Well done examples for average people who want to fly. No high tech tools required. Some basic RC electronics and ur flying for a few bucks. Lighter wood and stronger, less flexible controls and this one will fly

This is impressive aeromodelling. Really similar to that of Julius Perdana's(A TH-camr like you). I hope you make A6M zero as well like this next if possible. Also use decal stickers from next time if possible
Julius' built method is straightforward,cheap,and fast.

Hey bro i think there is a mistake you did in control input. You connect channel 1 rudder, channel 2 elevator, channel 3 throttle and channel 4 ailerons. But in my way channel 1 is ailerons, channel 2 is elevator, channel 3 throttle and channel 4 is rudder.
Baki sabke habit ki baat hoti hai har kisi ka apna apna habit hota hai.

What kind of glue did you glue the polystyrene foam with?

Best video soo far the process of making it is in very detail but the motor has less power for the airplane it needs faster motor
Its not really the motor... the plane seemed a bit tail heavy... even when he checked the CG the plane tilted a bit to back... And, well, though a bigger motor might help, this motor could've very well flown it as a Slow Flyer... also, its a piper... so it has a high wing loading... it has to fly slow- so I think the motor was okay, its just, the plane was a teeny bit tail heavy... hence, when he goes full throttle, it climbs rapidly and stalls (thrust to weight ratio is prolly under 1)...

Buddy, Am An Aeromodeller Too. I Saw Your Flight Video - Build Techniques are Truly Inspirational For Us All Aspirants In India. I Am Writing This Comment To Help You Out With Certain Aspects Which I Thought Might Come Useful to You.
1. Model Weight Is Actually Too Much and Hence It Is Stalling At Low Speed and Nose Diving at High Speed. You Used Too Thick XPS sheet. You can reduce it to 2/3 width.
2. Cut Blocks and Holes In the Structure - it will still hold Good Shape. Cover the holes with Newspaper or (Cleartape to make it cool).
