This is epic. I have wanted to go to mana pool for few years and got so many mixed reviews which kind of put me off. Now watching this I just have to go and see it for myself. What an epic adventure it looks like. Thank you again for inspiring another trip, my bank manager will not like you though 😂😂😂😂😂
Bravo Villiers what a brilliant video! You really bring out the magic that is Mana, the magnificent trees, beautiful landscapes, sunsets and all those wonderfully relaxed Ellies. Not to mention being able to get out and walk amongst it all instead of being stuck in your car the whole time. Love this and your bloopers at the end just cracked me up. 😂😂 Can’t wait to get back to Mana…..only 8 more months to go 😀
31:23 OMG. I have just revised my bucket list ☺️. What a wonderful journey and so pleased to see my two favourite safari bloggers together. Byron's video was just as awesome as yours Villiers .Great to see your wife joining you. What an epic experience.
World class, Vil! Love the way you put this together and it put a huge smile on my face to relive this adventure through your eyes 👌🏼 had a good chuckle when that squirrel ran for its life from the shaking Ana tree, the farting Fred Astaire and the bloopers at the end 😂 informative, entertaining, top footage and overall a super watch 💯
@@WildWildJourneys, thanks! 😁 Tabby and I have now watched it four times ourselves as well, just to relive the adventure… Can’t wait for the next one 😎💪🏻
Fabulous videography. And the music is great, I’m so focussed on the visuals that I hardly notice the music. Classic Mana Pools and your Prado , well it looks great in that setting
Thank you so much for sharing this majestic place with us. As usual, a very wel presentd video. I almost felt like I was there. It is nice to see all the adventure travellers together. Keep on sharing the beautiful places and ofcoarse giving us a bit off the African bush that I so dearly miss. Great work
Amazing video Villiers! Really enjoyed it! Definitely a destination at the top of my bucket list! I also found the tips video very helpful! Thank you! 🙏🏻
Excellent video presentation Villiers .. loved it ! I was there a week before you arrived . I spent a month in Mana during your stay . Nice to have met you ! The trees you mentioned “ Anna trees “ , slight correction there , they are actually Acacia Albida (Faidherbia Albida) trees . I am a wildlife photographer and have photographed Mana for many years now , it never disappoints , the dry period of Mana yes is my favourite time to photograph there from August till November ! Sad they are experiencing yet another drought . 2019 was the last one when all the pools dried up . Stay well ! Ross Sayers Photography!
@@TheSafariExpert it is totally my loss, how do I overcome listening to noise that doesn't fit with a wonderful wildlife video. I am sure there are loads of people who love it. Which is great, at least you know why I started to watch and gave up.
@, I do get it. I really do. My wife and I watch the videos from start to finish twice before I post it and often I have to remove or reduce the music… What many people don’t realise, is that it doesn’t always sound better without it. You see, each clip has its own ambient sounds, and although it might sound nice for a few seconds, it might sound a bit jarring in sequence… Adding music is the single best way to make it flow. And on top of that, it does create a certain mood as well. I urge you to watch the whole video again, just because you might actually enjoy some of the wonderful sightings and scenes later in the video 🙏🏻🙂
I found the music very relevant to the footage, it helps the video become more cohesive, effective in storytelling and I really enjoy that. Sometimes ambient sounds are great, but sometimes music is great too. Also, it’s very difficult to get footage with 100% natural sounds because there always seems to be vehicle noises in the distance or people speaking. And if one includes all of those man made noises in a video, the natural ambiance is lost. I love how you put the video together Villiers!
Lovely film! Great memories of Mana Pools, where the walking adds a lot to the experience. Great light in the bushes and lovely sightings.
Thanks so much, Andius 🙏🏻
17:04 poor squirrel had to run for its dear life 😅! Amazing video!

I filmed an elephant go on his hind legs in the Kruger, near Malelane Satellite camp. Its on my channel, was mind blowing.

@@colintraveller, watch the top tips video I link to at the end 👍🏻
Imagine the strength it took to shake a tree branch of that size. And they there is no God. Absolutely amazing.
why do you put music on when there are fabulous African sounds of day and night. I gave up watching, I don't want music in a wildlife video. Sorry.
