Lamaload is a great place to check out in the Cheshire Peak District. I would highly recommend a visit. If you do plan a visit be sure to check out my 'AllTrails' map in the video description.
Wow another great video thomtopis. Wow that dam wall has a gothic feel to it. Keep up the great work thomtopis. Cannot wait to see Hayley and Kyle and grandbaby peanut do some videos soon . Tash Hayleys mum. 🥾🥾🥾🥾🐾🐾🐾🐕🐕🐕🐕
Thank you very much 🙂 I'm glad you enjoyed it, its a very cool looking place. Likewise I look forward to seeing more videos with their growing family. Have a great weekend.
The Dam although might not look out of place elsewhere in the UK is very unique for the Peak District. A site well worth the visit, especially if you are interested in engineering
Certainly a nice circular walk and a beautiful Dam. It certainly is unique and beautiful at the same time. I appreciate all the research you have put into the video, too, Harrison. Thanks for sharing.
Great video as always. Such an unusual dam but it does look like a nice place to visit and walk around. I left your videos running today so watched some older ones as theyre always good for a second/third viewing and yes I'm still a mega fan Mr Topics! 😅 Looking forward to the next one! 🥰❤️
Thank you so much All that watch time is always appreciated 😊 Its a cool place to go and have a wander around. I didn't actually show it in this videos but if you do the whole circular walk the other side of the reservoir is really nice to explore and there are some cool old ruined farm buildings. Thanks again for watching and have a great weekend.
That was brilliant Harrison! I've driven along that lane near the reservoir, but I've certainly never seen that amazing concrete dam before. It's a remarkable sight indeed, thanks for showing us around. All the best 👍
Great video! A solid combination of amazing drone shots (you're making me jealous), detailed info and footage of your walk. It's a pretty impressive thing isn't it! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for taking the time to watch and your kind comments 😊 Really happy with how it turned out, I’m very glad I got the drone so I could get those nice aerial shots (and it’s just a fun toy to play with 😂) Hope you have a great weekend 😊
I've been equally intrigued by that same signpost. Paired with the roadsigns on the Macc road to Lamaload, and intriguing glimpses from the car on the way to Wildeboarclough, it's been on the 'to do' list but have struggled to find much info on footpaths, loop walks etc. So thank you for shedding some light!
It sounds like we have shared some similar experiences. Often in the car I have seen it off in the distance but had not ventured until recently. Well worth the visit down there 👍 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Have a great weekend 😊
Thank you, its great to hear these kind of comments. The more places like this I can introduce people to as 'new' the better. Thanks for taking the time to watch and hope you have a great weekend.

Awesome looking place, a very different kind of thing than you would expect to see in the Peak District

Thanks Patrick. You will have to have the wander across and check out the dam next time you are in that part of the Peak. Have a great weekend

Wonderful shots and a top notch video!
Thank you, I'm happy with how it all came out. Thanks for taking the time to watch and have a great weekend.
some really cool shots of the dam , great video!
Thank you mate. The first time I had gone to film this I put the drone in the air and instantly started to get warnings about how windy it was 😂
Flying a £1000 drone over a deep reservoir is too risky for me 😂
@@rossniem sensible 😂 I at least have specific insurance which includes crashing into water (fingers crossed I will never need to use it)
Mordor 😂.
Leaning heavily into my dorky side with that one 😂 Thanks for taking the time time watch 👍
