As someone that doesn't watch 4x at all, this was so good.
This game is perfect for the amount of board game “bickering” that the Yogs do. Mammon demands more.
I'm glad Kirsty went for Pandæmonium, it's really kept the game exciting.
Loving these Solium Infernum playthroughs. Hearing everyone's thoughts and tactics and then seeing the ensuing chaos from it all is so entertaining 😄
Man I really thought that they all were focusing too much on what they could see on the map and letting Daltos run away with the win but now it's completely come down to the wire. I love it
That was really interesting. With Civ you sort of know how things are going to play out far in advance of the end. Here it's right down to the wire and there's so much politicking going on that actually matters, rather than the usual flaccid set of background mechanics. Really impressed with this game.
For sure, I thought Kirsty had it. Maybe next game!

I agree, but you literally don't have to watch the animations. Like I said though, I still agree.
Manuscripts have been buffed recently but they still feel underwhelming, even to debuffed tribute. You can move through multiple enemy legions regardless of start, so long as you can kill each of them, but you can't move through your own legions.
Kirsty made the same mistake as me my first game xD, there's a relic you can buy sometimes which makes a PoP unconquerable, all except pandemonium itself. V useful for that kind of victory.
