Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I totally agree about using products from outside the backpacking industry. In fact, isn’t that how ultralight got started? I have a similar product from the brand Govee. It is quite handy to see exactly how my gear performs in different conditions and understand the limitations. Plus I can forget to set the thermometer up and still get readings, since the device stores the readings locally, then just dumps the data to my phone when I connect it.
Yeah, this logger is a game changer. As long as it's in my load out, I can get the readings. I also don't have to remember to bring it into my hammock at night....which I forget to do often enough 😅 Is the Govee water resistant? What's the model? Thanks.
