Thanks ordered mine at temu now. Was torn between this one or a bushbox. But 15 cm vs 12.5 means 45 percent more chamber volume and heat in our winter.
I suspect it warped as it was too hot from over fueling. I think it's best to put smaller pieces in and not much higher than the feed hole. Then just continue to feed the fire gradually to maintain it. The way it is at 16:45 is probably the most amount of flame you want. At 23:10 that is overkill. Also I would recommend not moving it at all until it's cooled down. It's probably far more likely to warp or bend if you start moving it when it's really hot.
Thanks for the suggestions. It definitely warped during burning as it checked for warping each time before shifting it. Just wanted to see what it's capable of. Normal use will definitely be more subdued 👍
I don't have a Bushbox. I've gone into the comparative details in my previous vid on this stove and the reasons why I got this rather than a Firebox or Bushbox.

Based on what I found with mine, some folks have mentioned not to overfill as it'll lead to warping. How much was it on temu?
I think the best option is to start with a small fire and then add to it as it goes with the thicker pieces
You are spot on. That's the plan for normal days 🏕️🔥

Yeah wood doesn’t burn from the top down very efficiently as you saw,… pretty nice stove though!
