For those researching which one to buy, please note that the noise of the cellerciser can be drastically reduced to almost nothing with a few drops of oil (in my case I used coconut oil) at the ends where there are metal contact. Just got mine two weeks ago.

I had a bungee tramp before and I did not get the same resistance on it however I could jump higher for fun. I do David Hall'a exercise programme on the Cellercizer

Jovan, What a great review. I have had a Cellerciser for 24 years. I love rebounding. I went online to see if I still had one of the best rebounders available. It turns out that I do. I was thinking after 24 years there was a better one out there, and I would need to invest in a new one. I am so glad I don't. God bless you!

They always ship the cellerciser with two extra springs just in case. However, I have been using mine for 8 years and no broken springs and I weigh 200 pounds. The Bellicon is quieter but that is really the only benefit over the Cellerciser which is $400 less expensive. The bungees wear out on the Bellicon and have to be replaced. And because they are bungees you can see the feet pronate a little bit with every jump on this video. Also, all it takes is two drops of oil on each spring twice a year and it is very quiet. The mat on the Cellerciser is also a higher quality material. So if noise is your number one priority then the Bellicon is definitely quieter. But for health, I would choose the Cellerciser

I just bought a slightly used 49" Bellicon. I am really impressed. I rebounded 30 years ago, a lot on a spring trampoline. The Bellicon gives a great cardio workout. David Hall does a great job of explaining the Celleciser. He emphasizes a lower bounce and less foot pronation. In this video, I did not see the Bellicon as being problematic. I am recovering from a broken kneecap and rebounding is one of a few cardio workouts I can do and enjoy as I heal. .... thanks ladies for this review... I do not need to buy a Celleciser as I do not believe the bounce will be that much different. ... I also considered "Leaps and Rebounds" rebounder before I bought my Bellicon. My Bellicon has folding legs with are extremely well made. Keep in mind that replacement Bungees are about $85 for Bellicon and come in different strengths and lengths. My 49" Bellicon has 42 bungees.

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to decide between the Cellerciser and the Bellicon, but due to financial issues I will probably start with the Cellerciser. I know the benefits of rebounding for weigh loss because when I was a young teenager, I lost quite a bit of weight without realizing it and my family and I couldn't figure out why or how it happened. We weren't very concerned because my health was great. Years later, as I was learning about the benefits of rebounding, I remembered my experience of unintentional weight loss when I was a kid and remembered that at the time I was using the pogo stick I begged my parents to get me for Christmas. I loved that pogo stick and was on it everyday for hours at a time. So I learned the benefits of rebounding through personal experience without even knowing it.
Your video review was helpful to me because now I know that I will eventually have both units. I'll use Cellerciser then save for the Bellicon.

I've just started using my Bellicon regularly (I changed out my original medium cords, which were useless to me due to extreme protonation and not enough resistance for fitness workouts) to the ultra strong cords per the recommendation of fitness rebounders on youtube, and it's AMAZING. The results come quickly and I feel really good. I just ordered a Cellerciser though because I want one I can take outside and travel with (because it's foldable and portable), and it's less than half what I paid for the Bellicon with the cord change out and stability bar that I added on after original purchase. HOWEVER. I just jumped on it the celleciser for the first time and sadly, the quality of bounce is not really anywhere near the Bellicon, and it's a lot noisier. But I'm going to apply the 3 in 1 oil to the Cellerciser and give it a fair go. I'm slightly concerned with the harder bounce (compared to the Bellicon) that it might cause joint/back/ankle problems for me, but I'm really gonna give it a fair go. I really want to go outside in this warmer weather and the Bellicon I have does not move easily, for sure not on stairs and outside daily, but also, the Cellerciser is REALLY heavy, much heavier than it looks when Dave quickly unfolds and folds it. So my ultimate recommendation is that if you have the money and don't need to move it, the Bellicon is hands DOWN superior to the Cellerciser, but be mindful of the cord strength you need. If you want to do for real fitness workouts with it, get the ultra strong cords.

It IS all God!! Yes I've found the ultra strong cords are as firm as the cellerciser but have a smoother bounce. They may wear out faster than the springs, not sure. I do love the smoother bounce, but suspect that the cellerciser might be fractionally more efficient at muscle building because of the slightly stronger impact. Blessings!

I was also researching the difference between Cellerciser and Bellicon 2 years ago. I decided to buy the cellerciser after I found out that Bellicon is not OK for me because due to the fact that they use bungee cords, the mattress doesn't hold the weight up as good as springs, and this causes the feet to pronate, which can cause a lot of pain down the line. I weighed 165 pounds when I started using my Cellerciser and went down to 140 in couple of months. I used it between 1 and 3 hours daily.

Oh well, glad to have the absolute best. Chose the Bellicon as I saw the cellerciser legs moving a bit while jumping and the bellicon didn't budge. Nothing tops the bellicon. And the fact that it's used in Germany in health institutes for back problems is proof enough of its quality. Yes, the price is higher, but it's also a matter of what your health is worth. YOu basically have an item for the rest of your life. All you need to replace are the bungees (depending on how often you use it).

Very good review. Just one thing: You say that the bellicon is very large / bulky. That is because you have the 49 inch unit. Bellicon also makes a 44 inch unit and a 39 inch unit (the travel rebounder). :-)

The bellicon! I will choose the bellicon anytime! I love it! I can use it at 3am without disturbing my neighbours and the bounce is just so smooth! I use it every day, sporadically throughout the day. I sweat a lot but I love it because it grounds me (if that makes sense). I paid $700 USD for mine, a few years back - I had to give up a lot of groceries to get this baby and have not regretted it at all. The bellicon is the best!

rebounding is the best way to stay in shape and healthy. I teach it in a gym in Italy twice a week. No problem with lower back, knee, hip issues. Do be careful if you haveneck problems. Keep shoulders relaxed. The absolute best way to stay healthy!!!! and lose weight in half the time.

With cellerciser, I oiled the springs once a week for about 4 weeks and then about once a month for about three months. It has very little spring sound. Apparently it gets to whisper quite with use and oiling as time goes by. Thank you for your reciew

A note about springs squeaking. I recently bought a Cellerciser and it makes hardly any noise although I plan to keep it oiled "just in case". If it ever squeaks the thing to do is put a drop of 3-in-1 oil on each end of the spring and then work it in by bouncing. David Hall said this is a process that needs to be done about every 15 months. I'd love to see you oil your Cellerciser and let us know if it works.

  • @spacelumps

You should try some lube or oil for your springs AND the metal folding joints in the Cellerciser, it may not be silent but should help a lot! Thanks for the great video!

I felt you were very fair and balanced with your review. Excellent job. The Bellicon looks great and if I had the money I would buy one. I do have the Cellerciser, which I love. It is not nearly as noisy as yours. Mine is the professional model, which may make a dfiference. It's a trifold and comes with a case with wheels, making it easy to transport. Thought your readers should know..

I just ordered one today. Maybe I'll come back to this and post my own review. However, my sister has had one for years and raves about how great it is. I had been given a rebounder 12 years ago, used, by someone who was just getting rid of one and I thought it was very well made. I don't know the brand of that one, because it wasn't on the equipment. The rebounder I ordered today was $539.00 and comes with the handle bar, a dvd, and of course the bag. Looking forward to using it!

Yep, we second all the other comments. My wife just started looking this morning. Her family had a large "ottoman" trampoline (remove ottoman cushion and there it was) while we were dating 33 years ago. She wants to make sure the mat is large enough for safe use and your review helped with that decision. She still does 6 mile runs a few times a week routinely but wanted a quality rebounder for the Denver winter months and having a full time day job where waiting till after work means...darkness!
    Well done review!

  • @leahbernstein3185
    @leahbernstein3185 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

This is a great comparison review! I tried out a Bellicon, it was used, and was too soft a bounce for me, but my balance could use the workout from the deeper, slower rebound. I purchased a Cellerciser. The firmer bounce is better for osteoporosis, and the Cellerciser is a much firmer bounce than the Bellicon. It is a noisy bounce, but I'll try the oil on the spring. If I ever have to replace a spring, that will be a challenge...Thanks again for the comprehensive review.

Peace, Thank you very much for taking time out to watch and review the video. I just tried to friend you on FB but your page dont have a "Friend" button" Im not sure why. I rebound everyday mainly on the Bellicon because its in my bedroom in the middle of the floor. So we either have to walk around it or jump on it to get over it, and you cant just jump once. So a few mins a day is all I do when im not going hard. My son jumps on it everyday for like 4 hours total so hes 5 and hes RIPPED!

Cellercizer.--QUALITY? Broken springs and a HORRIFIC squeek. I have had a number of rebounders and love them. Only spring that ever broke was on a SunDance over 20 years old had gotten rusted. NONE of them have ever squeeked anything like this, ever though used a LOT. Now I usually use Needack and Urban Rebounder. Both great. Now with suggestion of Jhonlie Cuis, I've lubricated with coconut oil and the minor squeek is nearly inaudible. If you've been using the cellicizer on uneven surfaces, 'taking it to picnics,' that could be a factor in broken springs.

3 in 1 oil that you can buy at hardware store.

The noise comes from metal against metal but the springs are never going to need to be replaced.

Hi,enjoyed your review thanks. Its jan 2017, and time has flownThe answer to the squeek is to oil where the two pieces of meal meet. Just like we woud on a doorhinge etc.. Springs have been re-designed.and so has the mat. Prices remain same, but David is saying in a recent video, that they are considering that at asome point they may have to charge for delivery.
hope that is usefu to someone.

WOW! I wish I had seen this 3 years ago. I wasn't sure I could afford the Bellicon especially since I had never done rebounding before and didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I might not use. I thought I had done good thorough research, but I missed this. I bought a JumpSport mini trampoline which I do use, but I need a handlebar because of my age and balance issues. As it turned out, I didn't initially use the rebounder very much until I got an inflamed sciatic nerve. Now that physical therapy has gotten me straight, I've been using my JumpSport and looking for workouts that include the handlebar. That's how I first came across the Cellerciser AND your EXCELLENT review. Never heard of David Hall. Your review has me thinking about buying a Cellerciser WITH a handle bar. I've also listened to David Hall. He's great and inspirational. THANK YOU for your wonderful comprehensive review.
