    i use a xperia x daily for the past 2 years .great value for money back then crystal clear display ,decent camera and amazing stereo speakers.great reliability,and well built phone.
    although it is starting to show it's age. snapdragon 650 is little underpowered now days and after updates apps got bigger and bigger so phone occasionally runs very hot , battery life isn't great any more.
    definitely my next phone will be a xperia again.

    • @kittytrail
      @kittytrail ปีที่แล้ว

      as long as you stay with high end, Japan made VAIO m it works fine for a long time with excellent battery time, not thinkpad or panasonic toughbook longevity but close, kinda linke the dell professional latitude laptops. easy to work on, at least up to the 2014 spin off of the VAIO line. as for the phones i'd say it's the same with a few caveats as to the parts availability in some markets and kinda slow software updates but they work, less buggy than to the samsung ones. most of of the people i know with Sony phones are taking care of their phones and keeping them for two years or more usually and won't go for the shinny new thing every six months in or so. kinda late to the party but, had some time. 😋

      @Ellis The DJ I don't know man, but I've always seen Sony devices as really well made and high quality. As an example, I have 2 Xperia E1 phones that are six years old each and still work like a charm. Meanwhile my supposedly "superior" Xiaomi redmi phone lasted less than 2 years before the charging port broke.

      Always have loved Sony never had a screen shatter on me. But I wished they would’ve got their stuff together with their updates and cam software as well as the adhesive for display and rear panel
      My last Xperia was the z5 premium got it at launch and replaced it last month
      Loved it every bit minus the over heating issues and bend
      Also the stamina mode really helped get great battery life on it
      Used to do about 4-5 hrs screen time on that.
      Wished Sony hadn’t pulled out of the market here.
      Was very hard moving away from Sony

  • @ToniML200
    @ToniML200 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Pretty sure you applied the adhesive tape wrong. Ever since the Z3, Sony used HMG adhesive tape, which needs to be heat up after you place the screen on the body for a tight bond.
    Same goes for Apple devices.

    Just curious if anyone can answer my query. I recently replaced the battery on my OnePlus 3T and I'm now having an issue where the phone seems to die around 10%, I try and turn the device on after it cuts out and it gives me a warning saying battery critically low and it needs charging, any reason why it would be giving me a false reading? I'd like to add that when the phone is charged, the battery performs excellently and holds charge much better than the old battery.

All the glasses became pieces, the frame bent, but the phone was still booting up. To this day lies disassembled in a drawer, looking for a back panel, screen and front panel, and an earpiece.
