You can actually have any drink blended. Just let them know if you want base added or not.
It depends on the location. At my Starbucks we are not allowed to blend anything other than a Frappuccino
Cacophonous 11 hello fellow partner! And you’re right, it’s actually not allowed! Our DM let us know quite frequently that it could actually BREAK THE BLENDERS! We are supposed to encourage customers who order it to just get the coffee frapp instead.
@@kaitlynmcarthur430 lol. It won't break the blender. Granitas were just liquid and ice. No base. Your DM is kind of an idiot. You can blend anything. It doesn't always blend properly, and it doesn't work well without base, but you can do it.
So I know these comments are a few months old, but I’m curious why I’ve and fluid would break a blender? I can make dough in my Ninja, why would y’all need a ‘base’ to mix fluid and solid water?

misty gumtang legit question. it's not super strong, but I will say it's not nearly as sweet as the white mocha. you could ask for a splash of milk or alternative to help. hope this helps!

As a barista I know some things. But usually for any blended drinks a Creme or coffee base is added so it stabilizes the mix of ice. Which has a lot of sugar

I just tried this today and it was surprisingly good! I normally hateee black coffee but this is definitely a new go-to! Some tips for anyone wanting to order: my starbucks "double blended" it and it turned into more of a foamy 'latte' instead of a slushy, so if you want it icy get it once blended. The twice blended was basically an entire cup of foam which eventually melted into coffee, but I really enjoyed it. It was kinda like latte foam minus the milk and calories

Since you are adding stevia you should know starbucks has whole earth stevia sweetner! You could ask them to blend it with the iced coffee and have them put it in a TRENTA cup instead of them handing you two! Hope this helps 💓 I'm going to try the iced coffee blended when I go into work tonight!

Why does it look separated like that if it's blended?
Molly Debolt because it's only blended iced coffee so when the coffee and ice separate, the coffee melts to the bottom. It happens quite quickly.

Haley Kern Not true. Just ask them if they can throw a regular iced coffee in the blender for you! It should still cost the exact same. Tell them to add some pumps of frappuchino base to help blend the mixture.

Alicia Garcia not directly in the app but you could always order an iced coffee no sweetener and then call and say 'I ordered an unsweetened iced coffee through the mobile app and I would like it blended with no base please'. There's no option on the app to add notes to an order unfortunately 😕 but at that point it's probably just easier to order in the store.

Hardest part about these drinks seem to be driving through and having to repeat my order so many times. It's why I gave up on the Michelle Bishop drink. This seems pretty easy.

I personally don’t like the taste of our iced coffee, but you could also do this with an iced americano for a different flavor! If you do it with blonde it’ll be naturally sweeter than the regular espresso! I recommend it more than iced coffee for sure

Paulina Gurba Its just the size of the cup. A short is eight fluid ounces. A tall is 12 fluid ounces. Grande is 16 fluid ounces. Venti is 20 fluid ounces. Trenta is 31 fluid ounces but it's usually for iced coffee drinks

I'm a barista at a starbucks in San Diego, CA and they recently started making us turn the camera on during "peak hours" which is anywhere between 7 and 9am. It was mainly supposed to be used for deaf people but they reason it saying it will increase sales. Personally I feel really uncomfortable with it on, but oh well 😥😥

Hi Britney! So I've been to Starbucks plenty of times and asked for this drink! They look at me like I'm freakin CRAZY! and are very sassy 🙄 how do I explain to them how to make it? It's very simple right

Make sure to ask for ice. When you say blended we assume you want the coffee put in the blender and blended. Starbucks basically makes all drink you could think of with our ingredients, legit anything you want, so most arent going to assume you basically want an iced coffee frap (which is what this is)

It's just coffee! The foam is ice/coffee blended together! That's why it looks like that! :)
You actually can't add sugar free caramel because, Starbucks discontinued that syrup a year ago.

Hey girl so I work at Starbucks and depending on how they blend it usually anything that goes in the blender we put a frap base (in order for the ice and liquid to blend) but it does have sugar in it. So unless the customer asks for NO base we always put it in. Just a heads up :) love your videos :)

jenny gonzalez it's because it separates. All drinks you blend end up looking like this. If there was base it wouldn't look like this it would be all one drink :) base is used to keep frappucinos together

So like can you even drink it like that? That's odd I've never tried that. I'll probably try making one at work soon I'd be afraid to buy one to try it and not like it

Try freezing coffee into cubes, then won't dilute the coffee too much
Such a great idea! I do that with "so delicious coconut creamer" to make creamy frozen desserts...didn't even think about doing that with coffee.
Make some cold brew coffee--so much better than hot brewed coffee iced.
Chris Keith I was going to suggest the same! Cold brew is awesome for cold drinks and I love how it usually is brewn much stronger than usual coffee. Comes in handy if you don't have frozen coffee in the freezer or want to put some hot water in it to enjoy it warm ♥️😉

Starbucks worker here. The ice to liquid ratio is significantly different than regular blended drinks. That and if they ask for it blended it doesn't get the coffee base that that frappuccinos get. Therefore, since there's more ice than liquid since it's not a regular frappuccino, it separates.

Hi i have been watching videos for a while now and inspired by you about being healthy and all. I had gastric sleeve surgery 2 years ago 232 and now 165 i have been stuck for a while so yeah i realize I should be keep going and not give and trying not stress about it cuz when I am stress or depressed I end eating bad food which I don’t want that cuz i did that when i was high school and I used to skip breakfast alot i didn’t liked the cafeteria food for breakfast and lunch was ok but didn’t make the right choice i used to snack on a chips and other food. So when i go out of town what should I do for meals and still active on my weight goal which is 125-115? How often do I need to weigh and measure myself?

I work at Starbucks and a Venti Ice coffee is actually 120 calories and it's getting coffee base added to it, which makes it even more. So it's obviously not "zero" calories.
So do your research before you label it "Starbucks zero calorie secret menu drink"

Hey Brittany! I love your Starbucks videos and I try your drink ideas all the time. I struggle with anxiety and all the Starbucks drinks I like tend to make my anxiety a lot worse.
