I, with all respect, do not agree. Sombra is characterised as a very drammatic figure in the comics, and considering WHAT the writers had to base the character off... They did a good job... I will admit that his origin story, when viewed alone, is pretty weak. But when you keep that story into consideration and also take into consideration the continuation of said story, with the return of sombra and the whole Umbrum's plot, it makes a lot of sense and is indeed a pretty solid story with a clear character developement, a beginninng and a solid ending. You wanna know what realy is a bad entry in the fiendship is magic origin group? Sunshet shimmer's origin and the Siren's origin. The first one was mediocre, and made the whole time thing between the two universes more complicated to understand And the other one... That one... That one... That one Was just plain awfull. 😥
I’m gonna say what I think about discord and why he’s here. (And this is me talking about stuff I don’t completely understand so feel free to correct me) I want to say this was set back in the day where discord didn’t realize his full power and didn’t know how easily he could rule the land. He eventually did realize this and knowing about equestria and how it apparently some powerful place with ponies he thought it as a challenge to take them first. (Could have also just been him not wanting to harm his home land) there are however things that don’t add up, as it’s confirmed discord is many many years older than Celestia and Luna, and they are present in this comic. So this proves he’s already been alive quite awhile, and that means he’s likely aware of his full power because he’s already several hundred years old and it wouldn’t have taken him that long to figure out everything he can do. So we can likely rule out him not knowing about his full power at the time. Another theory is maybe this was some sort of cult type thing thy discord was once part of. This again I don’t see being reliable because a cult requires order and all that Jazz, and discord is discord and he can’t physically survive without being chaotic. What I personally believe to be closet is he knew what he was capable of but didn’t have the idea of taking over any place at the time. I can maybe see him being in a Council like thing and that’s why he’s in a robe and is in the stance he’s in when we see him. Tell me what you think below

Tirek should have sought for love not power to be happy now he Cozy Glow and the Chrysalis Queen incased in Stone unlike King Sombra. Couldn’t be saved by the Elements of Harmony. I thought the villains could’ve changed their ways, like Trixie, Starlight, Gilda, Discord etc. & Reap the Rewards of Friendship. If only the show could’ve shown their redemption. I wish that Twilight could have established her Rule of Equestria from her castle of Ponyville.
The only for somepony to truly reform is if they want to Lord Tirek cozy glow and Queen Chrysalis didn't want to turn good they would also be a threat queen Chrysalis made that clear when she yell you think you've defeated will always return
In the official guidebook My Little Pony: The Elements of Harmony, Meghan McCarthy stated this about Discord regarding his reformation: "I don't think I'd want to reform all of our villains. I don't think that would be realistic. No matter how hard you try, some people (or evil alicorns) just aren't going to change their ways. But for a character like Discord, 'reforming' him allows us to tell more stories with his character. He gets to be the not-always-reliable ally instead of the known enemy." That shows that the writers do their best to make sure some villains remains evil in FIM and shows that no matter how hard you try, some people (or evil alicorns) just aren't going to change their ways since it would be unrealistic to reform all villains, especially too many ones. Besides, Tirek hated his father so much and therefore, doesn't sought love from him, only planning to overthrow him and do his plans to absorb magic from Equestria while unaware that Vorak disapproves of his sociopath actions. Besides, Tirek's backstory in the comics could have been a little different with no parents and him not caring about love but at least it shows why Tirek sought power; from a centaur hermit who inspires him and his thirst for power too so be happy for it. The Elements of Harmony is for defeating villains too mostly. Besides, the villains' final defeat is perfect to end their threats forever, never to return to harm Equestria again. I hope you'd understand that.

Also, I do wish a little that Twilight remains in Ponyville after the show's conclusion despite becoming the new ruler of Equestria. Too bad Canterlot is the capital city where rulers live.
