Please help! I have a Traxxas rustler vxl3 I downloaded the link Let it do its thing on my phone and with the reciever, now my esc doesn’t turn on when you press the button, or rather the light doesn’t come on. I have steering no throttle but the link app says it’s all green and linked up, please help
Do you recommend aluminum shocks? Or should i stick with factory stock ones? Im new to RCs and just wondering if its worth the $. Anyway, great video. I flipped my rustler over and the tip of the antenna tore off so I’ll be using this video to replace my receiver. Thanks for the upload!
You can always get additional screws much cheaper at home Depot or any hardware store they are mostly m3 screws. At my home Depot I can buy 4 m3 x 10mm for a 1.22. hobby shop usually charge five bucks for a pack of four screws just because it says Traxxas on it
traxxas cars are ok quality. They use too much plastic in the but then the motors are quality. Nothing is high quality in it. Even the suspensions arms are plastic. And I can't tell if the output or drive gear is made from nylon or metal not a big deal however. Not only that but the transmitter is very unresponsive. If you don't care about waterproofing, just replace the reveiver yourself. Not only that but there is way to much chassis flex because of all the plastic used. It doesn't even feel premium like the abs lego uses.
Metal a arms are a bad idea for any rc car. It’s the weak link in the whole suspension. It supposed break if not the next thing would be the whole cassis.
