@@stevecam724evidently marine ply is no better than normal ply, it just has a nice outer ply veneer but same glue is used, so ur just paying extra for a prettier looking sheet for boat building at the end of the day, if you are going to cover it with anything but clear coat it doesn’t matter.
@@evil17 cheers mate 👍 Turns out they use water proof glue and have a nicer finish. I'll check later but I also think there's mor laminated layers too.
Tip from an ex hose jockey, move the extinguisher away from the most likely place for a fire to start, right near a fridge and oven, if ya need it for real, ya gunna burn ya hands..Nice vid...
Hi Kyle, Thanks for watching hope it helped. The ply is removable and held in place by unistrut bolts. If you are going a permanent fixture I would recommend a screw and glue to some structural member as the foil can seperate from the foam. Happy camping!
Hey Thomas thanks for watching. Here is the video link. The hatch link will be in the description of the video! th-cam.com/video/23xg7pJ2CZQ/w-d-xo.html
This has been a big help for me. Completed mine today! Thanks mate
Good work mate
How is the glue holding up?
Hi Steve thanks for watching, we sold this canopy a while back, so can’t comment on that sorry.
@@outtherelivin645thanks for getting back to me, all good, I used the same glue as you but I did use marine ply and it's stuck fast.

Has the insulation reduced the fridge temps down. Im just about to insulate my canopy becuase fridge temps are too high
Hi Leejackson9724 thanks for watching. Yes insulation made a huge difference.
How did you mark the size of the rear wall to cut the ply.
Hey mate,
So did you just glue the ply straight to the foilboard?
