    • @outtherelivin645
      @outtherelivin645 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bobkats thanks for watching. Over all we had water leaks through the roof penetrations, the largest where the solar Pannel cables come through. As far as dust the rear bed got a little on the sides. As far as service and warmth go with the manufacture, we had a terrible experience, what works were warrantied were just band aid fixes. All up we had more than 35 faults. Some small, some major and some dangerous. I would look at other options such as Jawa or swag.

    • @outtherelivin645

      Hi Sam, thanks for watching. The dcdc charger will choose between one power source. By using a controller the solar and alternator contribute charge at the same time. The controller also allows for the use of up to 45v solar panels.

    • @outtherelivin645
      @outtherelivin645 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sam, glad you liked the video, it’s hard to know exactly what your problem is without seeing your wiring diagram. The most common mistake and when connecting a shunt is the negative connections. ALL …negative connections must go to the P terminal of the shunt. I would suggest consulting an auto elect to go over your wiring or contact iTechworld and speak with the technician. Happy camping

    • @jordanp6420
      @jordanp6420 ปีที่แล้ว

      Run all your grounds to a buss bar (like he had in the video) so that would include your ground for the DC charger and any other grounds for anything else your running. Then have one ground wire from that buss bar to the shunt (P side) then from the B side to the negative on the battery. As he said, the point is having all your grounds connecting to the P on the shunt and the easiest and cleanest way to achieve that is with a buss bar instead of trying to jam 20 grounds onto one post on the shunt.

    Hi mate, appreciate the video. We have a 1991 Toyota Coaster bus camper and I want to upgrade our 12v agm house set up, for more off grid suitable lithium/solar set up. I'm considering the whole Itech world 4 x 4/ caravan package, with the 2000w inverter you showed here and was concerned our 2000w induction cook top may have been too much for it. We wont need to go nuts cooking on it every meal I think and will always carry a little butane burner or gas burner/bottle for emergencies or to conserve 12v power. Only question now is the 40amp DC to DC charger in the kit, as our bus has a 24v starting system/alternator. Any thoughts on roof top solar panels etc with this set up? Cheers.

    Hi, thanks for the video. We have a clam shell pop top so only need one lifter. We don't have any lifters at the moment, just the gas struts, so it is a "make from scratch" project. The hardest part is the start until the struts take over. I'll do some measuring over the next couple of days and see what I come up with.
