I was able to learn ragas from his violin Concerts,also from others.We have no words to write about him. I have also slept hearing his solos in his concert itself. Assuming I have some right to comment on Sir Late Lalgudi I can say his Sahana Rags is a great example of his class.

Let the discussion be in a good manner..abusing filthy words is undesirable of a person who is admiring IR music...this itself clearly shows the culture imbibed by stupid IR music to you ...non of the Carnatic artists speak or behave like this...IR copied from so many Carnatic and Hindustani ragas...majority people are not aware of this and praise him...none of the real Carnatic rasigas would dare really admire IR...IR himself has admitted that the majority of people are tuned to listen light music and hence they like IR but that’s pathetic about the people...IR made money from selling his copied rags and converting them to folk music...now ask him to make a good song...his song will never get a hit and he cannot compete with the contemporary music directors 😄Carnatic music is timeless but IR is bound with time...
