I made this thing a couple of years ago but I used the ink refill of the pen itself as the arrows because I think that after a few hard shots the skewer would break
I did that too it worked well but then the ink went on my jeans so I tried skewers and after one shot they were too blunt how did he use the same arrow ?
Yumi Shima I used empty ink refills to avoid the ink problem

Yumi Shima the metal tip makes them weight enough so they don’t spin around in the air

LP Games You would need a pump from $70+ to be powerful enough, they would probably need a pond pump. It is possible since its just a larger scale of a mini vortex.

The full mechanism for those is actually pretty complicated, and super annoying to make. You'd need an hour long video for making it. XP
You should check out the book "Mini Weapons Of Mass Destruction" . It has that and many other cool builds (pyrotechnics).

Sodium bicarbonate + Vinegar (Acetic acid) -> Sodium Acetate + Water + Carbon Dioxide
NaHCO3 + CH3COOH -> CH3COONa + H2O + CO2

I made a single launcher (only had one pen) and shot a skewer at a cardboard box and IT WENT RIGHT THROUGH! I am now prepared for anything.
Make an affordable homemade wood/metal turning lathe. that'd be a sweet project and I'm sure reusable for many future projects.
