You guys kick ass. Honestly splendid work.
😅
Bring an OLED screen and I'll buy it in 5 seconds.
Does a 7in OLED 120hz VRR display exist yet? That would Make the win mini perfect, but I doubt GPD is getting custom displays. Just like how the new win mini is the same display from the Ally. 🤷🏽♂️
OLED will consumes more battery than IPS LCD when playing games except in dark mode.
@@BarelyAverageDude I'm okay giving up VRR for OLED.
@@tommythuyen4063 and OLED consumes less when in darker colours. Overall, it shouldn't matter much with gaming but the display quality looks way better.
It’s actually a powerhouse to be that small … I think it has slightly better performance then the LEGO which is crazy considering I just bought one 2 months ago … eta prime just did a video showing performance and it’s mind blowing the type of performance this thing does at 20 watts
Looking forward to this one for sure!!!!! #GPDGANG
👍
I am an IGG backer of the Winmini 8840U. Very excited for this!
Thanks for your support!
Does the new model have a USB-C port that supports DP-Alt Out (for e.g. Xreal Air glasses)? I see one of the USB-C ports is labeled USB 4.
Sure, 1 port is USB4
i love win mini but mine have native portrait display, some games cannot change resolution or it will display portrait mode due to this, 8840u solve this issue but, i dont have access to oculink which is much2 better than usb4, over usb 4. Sometimes 7840u perform better than g1 due to stutter
When will you ship gpd win mini 2024 to all datablitz stores in the philippines?

Would it be possible to see some benchmarks of some of the most common local LLMs running and what their token/s is?
What's LLMs?
@@gpdgameconsole LLM (Large Language Models). I'm also wondering if a 128GB RAM option might be possible for one of your next generation devices? Like, a super AI focused version would be amazing!
@@dirtbike165 128G for handheld is too large, I think the 64GB is the most
@@gpdgameconsole I understand how 64GB of RAM can seem like enough for games, but if this is also going to be geared towards people who are into AI and something in this footprint and size, then really hit the ball out of the park and go higher than 64GB RAM! There is so much more we would be able to do with so much more RAM in such a small package like the GPD WinMax!
@@dirtbike165 👍👍
Yo I got this exact model and bring it to work all the time I’ve gotten a lot of talk about it and have gotten at least 3 friends to get one of their own these computers kick ass
Thanks for your support!
He is not comparing the 7840u retail version which has heat improvements with plastic shell so there is no way to compare this older 7840u engineering sample to the 2024 8840u model. Obviously anything plastic runs cooler in hands than the all metal mini.
He mentioned the plastic case edition, but he don't have the part on hand
You guys could build a 12 inch laptop with 64GB of RAM, I know you have the capacity to do that. Since none of the big ones don't do it, perhaps due to lack of will.
It's very frustrating to see 13" laptops from major manufacturers with a maximum of 32GB of RAM.
You have proven that it is possible to build small laptops with more memory, like 10" laptop with 64GB RAM.
Okay, we will check it
Can you make a model similar to the AyaNeo Flip DS please?
?
@@gpdgameconsole It's a dual screen PC handheld similar to the 3DS.
?
The 8840u unfortunately is such a minor change from the 7840u it's not worth the upgrade, I really hope there's a 2025 version with the new chip
Sure the 2025 will come with new chip
Oculink removed in the newer version, what a disappointment
😅
I own 2023 build IMO it would be great if GPD can offer grips with more slope similar to xbox controller with addition fan and USB-A port attach to it.
I thought that need bigger size to do such layout
@@gpdgameconsole Consider using grips already make the device too big to fit on pocket already I think it's reasonable trade off if it mean more comfortable to hold while also solve the lack of USB-A of the device at some degree,.
heck yeh!
:)
3in1 pc like OneXPlayer X1 design with a screen size of Win Max 2 or not more than 10'' in 2025 please....🙏
😁
Not just GPD but all handheld PC got limitation of battery tech, that hold back them so much from perfect capable handheld device. I would want at least 3 hours on my handheld no matter what I run on it
Couldn't agree more!
@@gpdgameconsolewe need a mini nuclear reactor running it 😂
You can always use powerbank 😅
No OCuLink for the 2024 model is a bummer
The USB4 is still good
I hardly get to play my rog ally because of work lol
😁
希望有MINISAS取代OCULINK
那个接口好像很长
8 inches Oled borderless
:)
STEAM DECK OLED IS MUCH BETTER FOR THE REST OF HANDHELDS PC WHICH ARE RUNNING "CRAPPY" WINDOWS.
You can install Linux instead of almost every other operating system. Including Windows on GPD devices, to get smaller and faster Steam Deck.
I actually like the freedom and compatibility of windows 🤷🏽♂️
And this is coming from a Mac user 😅
ANYTHING WINDOWS IS CRAP
Actually, the Asus ally is better besides the battery life. (I own both)
so bad
I love this device! I sent you guys an email
😀
