    Another super video - what camera are you shooting with. Id like one for my wife and clarity on your video was amazing. Gopro 12?

      No gopro on our channel. Insta360 AcePro. And the other cams are DJI Osmo Action. Thanks for watching.

    I swear none of those boats are mine but the local forest ranger needs to step up and gather the boats up.

      There were some rather nice ones back there, one was even chained to a tree and it was in great condition lol.

    Another great trip! I just got back from a trout fishing trip myself and you're right about the bug shirt you had. I was born and raised in the Adirondacks and have the same shirt and it certainly came in handy with all the bugs out now. Worth the investment! I caught some nice brook trout too! Thanks for sharing the video.

      The bug shirt is great. I’m wearing it right now. Thanks for watching.

      For sure you can do it. The beautiful thing about canoe tripping is that you can do all kinds with f different trips. You can do tough trips with lots of portaging or base camp on lakes or rivers. Start with base camping and go from there. Thank you for watching and commenting.

      We were there over 3 weeks ago now probably. Too many seagulls and motor boats for us so we went over to fish creek to little square and found the solitude we were looking for. Love the loons but hate the seagulls lol.

    Excellent trip. That double rainbow through the clouds was very unique. And then that sunset after was unreal. Love me some Fish Creek too.

      Adirondacks hasn’t failed us on a trip so far lol. We might not get a rainbow every trip, but we’ve experienced a great sunset on pretty much all of them. Fish creek is a great spot especially before the campgrounds open and it’s empty. As always we appreciate you watching and hopefully we run into each other one day. Have a good one!

      @@ADKAddicts bumping into each other is inevitable. I can spot a pack canoe a mile away. I hope when I do bump into you guys... you are cooking dinner so I can partake. You all know how to eat out there.

    I love catching smallies almost as much as I like catching trout. You hit on some beautiful fish.
    When you were assembling your gyro, I swear I could hear Jay’s voice exclaiming “Oh Man! Oh Man!”
    Maybe it was my inside voice?🤷‍♂️😆
    I’m kinda surprised that I’ve never seen you use a reflector oven. It’s sort of a unofficial mandatory piece of gear on a canoe trip

    • @ADKAddicts
      @ADKAddicts  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We like catching anything willing to be caught, but there’s nothing like fighting a big pike. And we definitely will be making those for Jay on a future trip. The reflector oven is on the to buy list for sure-especially because we enjoy baked goods while camping lol. Thanks for watching!

    Another great video guys, when you were on Stoney Creek Ponds you were within a half mile or so from a blue ribbon brook trout stream that empties into Stoney Creek outlet.

      I'll be spending a week at Cranberry Lake the first week of June and planning to fish that stream at least 1 day while I'm there.
