    Weather looked beautiful for the trip and beautiful brookies. Have you encountered any ticks while you're up in the ADK? I haven't seen any but my wife doesn't believe me lol Also, I live near the river in bville and Osprey are plentiful here often carrying cargo's of fresh fish. I like how they point the fish into the wind for better aerodynamics. I once found a decent-sized perch on my roof that I can only assume an osprey dropped. A turkey vulture saved me the trouble of going up there to remove it.

      Adirondacks hasn’t failed us on a trip so far lol. We might not get a rainbow every trip, but we’ve experienced a great sunset on pretty much all of them. Fish creek is a great spot especially before the campgrounds open and it’s empty. As always we appreciate you watching and hopefully we run into each other one day. Have a good one!

    I love catching smallies almost as much as I like catching trout. You hit on some beautiful fish. When you were assembling your gyro, I swear I could hear Jay’s voice exclaiming “Oh Man! Oh Man!” Maybe it was my inside voice?🤷‍♂️😆 I’m kinda surprised that I’ve never seen you use a reflector oven. It’s sort of a unofficial mandatory piece of gear on a canoe trip

    • @ADKAddicts
      @ADKAddicts หลายเดือนก่อน

      We like catching anything willing to be caught, but there’s nothing like fighting a big pike. And we definitely will be making those for Jay on a future trip. The reflector oven is on the to buy list for sure-especially because we enjoy baked goods while camping lol. Thanks for watching!
