- 3 nights 4 days canoe camping and trout fishing with Jay @DaxWoodsWanderer and Paul @adk_mtnlife in extremely windy and cold weather. We have some luck fishing and have a couple of fresh trout dinners.

Wow what a nice spot. Im surprised you guys didnt stay in the lean to. That was a nice one. Looked like plenty of tent spots too. Great camping area and good fishing. Cant ask for a better trip.
It was beautiful. Paul and Jay stayed in the lean to but I needed a quiet place to get some sleep because I had been up for over 30 hours. Plus I rarely use the hammock these days and wanted to break it out. Thanks for watching.
That was a great trip, and I can't wait to get back this fall. Damn Otter though lol

nice trip and really nice trout the rainbow was amazing. always nice to have cool weather as it cuts down on the bugs. hope the otter were gratful. bill😀
Thanks Bill. Yeah that cold weather that came in knocked out the bugs for a day and a half which was nice. I’m sure the otters ate really well that night.
Great video John, I had a laugh when you talked about the otters. A buddy and I lost a whole stringer of bullheads to a snapping turtle years ago. We just figured it was the fish trashing around.
At least they didn’t go to waste. I’m bringing a dry bag for the fish next time we go and want to keep some. Thanks for watching Michael.

What lures were you using to catch the trout? Great video as always.
Thank you. We were using lake clear wabblers with about a 16 inch leader to a small hook with either a half a night crawler or a power bait trout worm.
