Here in 2022... My librarian was killed in this shooting. She never judged me for one second when I needed to print out my plan b coupon. She was a sweet woman and she didn't make me pay my nickel for printing. I guess she saw me struggling. She was a woman of intelligence, class, beauty, & filled with God's love and understanding. Cynthia Graham I will never forget you or your kindness. You were an angel on earth and I'm sorry you didn't get more time here to spread your love.

Maurice Jones The true test is to find supernatural strength by having relationship with God not just religious piety. The pharisses knew the word but didn't hide it in their heart nor did they comprehend grace. You cannot let hatred, fear, the pride of life contaminate your heart. The whole world was watching not one riot? Not one. We are not the savages they depict us as.

Veronica Garcia We show Grace as a the President said. Blacks and Hispanics, and the Irish have been historically the most dedicated religious people in our country but when they speak of the religious you always see white churches.
The story is getting out there like when the nation and the world saw the hoses, dogs and cattle prods being placed on young people peacefully marching. Before seeing those images many thought the horrors faced by blacks was just talk. They now see the truth and how we really are as people.

Amen... i go back to watch him during times like now when not a spine in sight nor a Republican in Congress fit to shine President Obama's shoes.... except maybe two (2) who instead of denying the serious threat to our democracy January 6 actually posed or celebrating ?? the good patriots who used confederate flags like spears to kill and inflict pain on the scattering of police officers compelled to do the job that 100 more men might have struggled to furnish the protected that was needed on that day. it hurt -- that day hurt. It still hurts. But instead of investigating what powers initiated such an ugly coup, all but 2 Republicans work to sweep the whole experience beneath the rug of gutless spineless embarrassing weakness that reflects on all Americans (what you do to the least of them you do to me...) And it's a darn shame. SO I revert to recent history for leaders who inspire and leaders who lead solely by pride they provoke in all fortunate ears who listen. We need or rather I need this. You are so right. God bless a man who made me proud made a country proud. And John McCain stepped aside with true grace. (Wow, watch "Game Change" on HBO if you haven't already. @adamwsaxe 5 ปีที่แล้ว +44

No, Charlie is a real Republican--a member of the party of Lincoln. Here is President Obama speaking about his Christian faith in a church and you question why a "God fearing" man would want to take his advice? It's okay to disagree with Obama on lots of things; you're entitled to your own opinion . . . but not your own facts. He continued and doubled down on George Bush's bailout of the financial industry, he saved the auto industry, got a stimulus package and thus saved us from another depression. He holds the record for most consecutive months of job growth. He took the risk to order an unbelievably dangerous mission to kill Osama bin Laden. He initially tried to "reset" relations with Russia but learned that was a fool's errand and put in place devastating sanctions and redeployed tanks and fighter jets to Europe. He reversed course, too, on ballistic missile defense and approved AEGIS BMD batteries in Eastern Europe. He bombed the crap out of ISIS, so I have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to "fund" ISIS. He also did not "take out" a single "tax dollar" to "fund" Iran. He released Iranian-owned financial assets that had been frozen since 1979. You can disagree with that call, but you can't call it U.S. tax dollars. It was Iranian money. We simply gave it back to them. Again, it's perfectly fine to disagree with the man's policies (I opposed the Iran Deal, for example) but why have this irrational, delusional hatred of the man? We have had truly awful Presidents--James Buchanan was truly Nero fiddling while the Rome of the U.S.A. burned as the South succeeded. Andrew Johnson actively tried to undermine his own government's policy of Reconstruction. Warren G. Harding was corrupt as hell. Herbert Hoover did nothing after the stock market crashed. Nixon, well . . . it's Nixon. And Jimmy Carter, while an honorable man, was proved largely incompetent in foreign affairs. And yet you choose to focus all the hatred you can muster on Barack Obama?

Shieldsff I apologize if I offended you or anyone. Sorry. It truly wasn't my intent. I just highlighted the fact I thought it was nice Obama looked sincere and didn't seem to do this for the cameras or for political gain.
Of course, the event was all about the victims and their loved ones. And although I did not express it, I was deeply saddened and touched by this tragedy. If any of the victim's families are reading these lines, I want to extend my most sincere condolences. May God accompany you through your mourning. I'm a Canadian. I live in Toronto,Ontario, Canada. Your negative thoughts and statements about President Obama are not good. Your negative racist attitudes are where all your country's problems stem from. You should get down on your knees and thank God for President Barack Obama. He is loved by so many in many countries of the world including My country Canada.
We would love to have Mr. Obama lead our country when he is done down there. He would find very little Racism and very few guns here.
You people that are so negative. You don't know how good you got it down there.
You should put your white supremacy in the trash and take responsibility as an American and get behind your president.
    Wake up America,.
History will show that Barack Obama's work as your President has similar greatness to John Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln.

@@tiffsaver Well, did Obama allow H1N1 or any disease or thing, to Kill Over 160,000 People and did not give a....? Were there ever at least 40M working people laid off and then he called them Lazy? Did Obama ever, withhold supplies from states because they were a red state, not blue? Did he threaten to w/hold funds from Schools? Did he try to Work with both Dems n Repubs? Did he try to reform Health Care and Ask for input? Did he accept Responsibility for any and all mistakes? Did Obama Ever allow the kkk to take over VA in Charlottesville, and say good people on both sides even after, a White Lady, Peaceful Protester was killed? Did Obama ever send in Feds (couldve been White Supremacists) in spite of, the Governor's approval? Did Obama show his Tax documents? His birth certificate? Did he take his own SATs? Can he read? Have Empathy? Did he ever embarrass the American People to the point our dignity and respect No longer exist overseas? Allow Puttin to treat him like a ......? The list goes on; we don't have enough time. But you probably Worship #45!!

This was an amazing eulogy. No matter what anyone says, President Barack Obama is awesome! NO president has ever connected WITH people. Donald Trump wouldn't be HALF the president Mr. Obama is. 😑😑 the shade has been thrown

If he had his absolute way there would be nary a Christian American alive in these United States Of America! If you are in either of these 2 categories, yes yes; you would be amongst the company of these 9 folk in South Carolina! DEAD!!!

Brian Thompson Your words make me think you are a very unhappy and hateful person!!! I've seen and known your type throughout my lifetime but I choose not to associate with people like you because you're so hateful, repulsive and uninformed and I would not have anything in common with you. It's hateful people like you that caused this situation of terrorism that took place in this black southern church!!! You're pathetic!!!

LMK LMK No I'm not a bit unhappy. I can see these staged events for what thy are. A means to an end. That end being USA being no more. Come to think about it your boy just sold me,you, your kids and grand kids down the road when he got that TPP passed. When the worst times u have ever had come down on you just think of this little chat here. It seems u r the one uninformed! You officially have no rights. Your house can b taken, land too, anything they want and you can be made work with no compensation. I bet you wil love that. When Its too late, well i already is, lay down and go back to sleep because there is just no way you can handle the shock and feeling of betrayal your boy orchestrated.OH, no he couldn't have done this you will scream!! Oh, who did it? Barrack couldn't possibly have done this. Maybe finally after you see what is headed our way n his watch you will realize what has happened to this country by none other Barrack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro born in Hawaii, Kenya!
