Tom and Sophia have a great chemistry. Portraying charecters so similar and totally different at the same time. And Tom's singing is top notch. Have you ever heard about Bisexual lighting? It's a cinematography technique that incorporates the colors of the bisexual flag, blue, pink and purple on a scene. Fitting considering what we know now. It's on the planet, the train, the city. Director Kate Henron is also bisexual. And the fact this happened on Pride Month makes me so much happy. This was a wholesome episode. And fun fact: It was written by Ms Marvel showrruner. He should be able to just throw that Variant Loki around at will. He should have been able to beat pretty much anyone he's ever fought pretty easily having telekinesis that powerful, he can just bitch slap around anyone using only the power of his mind. If it turns out that thats the case, that it was simply only his telekinesis, then thats some pretty shitty writing on Marvel's part. I also, 22:39, very much related to how Loki phrased house relationship past. Subtle, just in passing, it was no big deal- as it should be characterized in society. Also, I think how this episode in particular deals with questions of identity is so fascinating. As Sylvie said- what is it that makes a Loki a Loki? Clearly they are both very different, in their attitudes, histories, etc...but there is also an unmistakable similarity, as Loki said, regarding their independence and intelligence. As a Scanian I am totally with Kat on the singing part, there was differently words from all our Scandinavian languages in there. I first thought it may have been Norse but there was modern Swedish and Danish in there too so yeah, I think it's just a amalgamation of the Nordic languages.

Somehow she managed to avoid getting pruned and escaped and has been on a Revenge kick ever since because probably from her point of view the TV a killed her entire family and everyone she knew when they reset her branch of the timeline.
Currently I am thinking that there has always been a multiverse, and the Timekeepers are administrating a "sacred" timeline (keeping it pruned) that is most advantageous for them. Sylvie could then be a variant from another timeline that came, or was sent (perhaps by a Kang that did not like his variant role in the sacred timeline) to disrupt the Timekeepers' desire for dominance.
This just occurred to me so maybe I'm a little slow, but I just now had the thought that Loki might, or might have already, snagged a handful of infinity stones from Casey's probably unguarded desk while he ran through the TVA.

Sylvie and Loki bickering was so entertaining. They're like chaotic siblings. And Loki using telekinesis to lift that building was super cool. I think the episode ended exactly where it was supposed to end. I liked that ending. Loved your reaction. Oh and magic doesn't work in the TVA.

It might explain why most of the people on the train weren't reacting to his magic....not to mention (I think) they were singing in Asgardian. At least the subtitles mention the Asgardian language but I forget who for. He might be manipulating an illusion in order to find out if she ever planned on betraying him, or something like that.

Shout out to the composer of the score in this episode in particular. It was so compelling especially on Lamentis 1 where the apocalypse was both strikingly beautiful and horrifying. That being said, I felt a little weirded out by their conversation about love because it seemed almost like a chemistry build up in the story line, and if they went that route it would literally be the most narcissistic thing Loki has ever done. But wouldn't that be just like him? (Personally I really hope that is not the trajectory here, but they definitely laid groundwork for it). Another thing that really bugged me was the contrivance of trying to get to the ark they knew was doomed without any real idea how they were going to get aboard or even why their presence on the ark would change its fate. It is absolutely egocentric delusions of grandeur that they even thought their being on the ship would make it survive. But isn't that just like Loki?
Between TVA twist, Silvie being an Amalgam of Lady Loki/Enchantress, (detailed down to Enchantress barely able to remember her mom, being self taught, etc., meaning that the TVA would deem her entire existence a threat,) our Loki varient coming out as Pan/Bi, and Sylvie basically confirming that she is too, what was your favorite part?
I just watched the new Loki promo/featurette. My theory is that she was considered a variant just for being born a female Loki, which is why she dyed her hair blonde and changed her name.

I predicted that Loki would fall in love with the other Loki (Sylvie)because he's the biggest narcissist in the MCU. They didn't grow up together. There's actually a phenomenon that happens surprisingly often in siblings or half siblings who did not grow up together at all... And they meet in adulthood and end up falling in love. There's been documentaries about it. It's a real thing that happens IRL. So it's not a huge leap or disgusting for it to happen in media, really. Because it's already a thing that happens. I can see both. Enchantress usually is Thors' love interest. They could easily change it to Loki.
This was the worst episode. She is not Loki anymore cause she is a women and needs a women name. And they talk about who they would have sex with. They took a cool female character that seems scary, cool, and a had a serious plan. And made about how woke this character is. If you love it good for you. You dont care about the story. Shout out to the composer of the score in this episode in particular. It was so compelling especially on Lamentis 1 where the apocalypse was both strikingly beautiful and horrifying. That being said, I felt a little weirded out by their conversation about love because it seemed almost like a chemistry build up in the story line, and if they went that route it would literally be the most narcissistic thing Loki has ever done. But wouldn't that be just like him? (Personally I really hope that is not the trajectory here, but they definitely laid groundwork for it). Another thing that really bugged me was the contrivance of trying to get to the ark they knew was doomed without any real idea how they were going to get aboard or even why their presence on the ark would change its fate. It is absolutely egocentric delusions of grandeur that they even thought their being on the ship would make it survive. But isn't that just like Loki?
Between TVA twist, Silvie being an Amalgam of Lady Loki/Enchantress, (detailed down to Enchantress barely able to remember her mom, being self taught, etc., meaning that the TVA would deem her entire existence a threat,) our Loki varient coming out as Pan/Bi, and Sylvie basically confirming that she is too, what was your favorite part?

I just watched the new Loki promo/featurette. My theory is that she was considered a variant just for being born a female Loki, which is why she dyed her hair blonde and changed her name.

This was a filler episode to be sure but a welcome one.
My theory is this episode didn't really happen. She touched him and enchanted Loki. Everything after the touch has been her creating a scenario to get what she wants from Loki.

I had the opposite thought, that Loki is enchanting her (starting when she “wakes up” on the train). Or at the very least, he’s pretending the tempad is broken

I'd imagine she's creating an illusion that Loki will believe or one where she makes him give up all hope. Creating an illusion where she gets everthing she plans might make Loki suspicious and break the illusion? I don't recall is she said it HAD to be a person's memories only that it's got to be something they believe and memories are used for the simpiler minds, but I'd have to rewatch it to see. But to also be fair, Loki was in 2077 at the time of the enchantment. He has like 5 minutes of memories.

I can see a sibling relationship. It is pretty disgusting to put a romantic spin on them. They are the equivalent of brother and sister.
They didn't grow up together. There's actually a phenomenon that happens surprisingly often in siblings or half siblings who did not grow up together at all... And they meet in adulthood and end up falling in love. There's been documentaries about it. It's a real thing that happens IRL. So it's not a huge leap or disgusting for it to happen in media, really. Because it's already a thing that happens. I can see both. Enchantress usually is Thors' love interest. They could easily change it to Loki.
That episode simply sucked after the first two much better episodes 😒
This was the worst episode. She is not Loki anymore cause she is a women and needs a women name. And they talk about who they would have sex with. They took a cool female character that seems scary, cool, and a had a serious plan. And made about how woke this character is. If you love it good for you. You dont care about the story. You just care about representation. I cancelled Disney +
