IMPORTANT NOTE Epoxy resin is toxic while it is curing, and safety precautions must be taken. Wear proper protective equipment (nitrile gloves, long sleeves, full-face respirator, and apron) and work outside or in a well-ventilated area. Do not allow epoxy resin to touch your skin or be inhaled through fumes or dust. If you get some on your skin, wash it twice well with soap and water. Always read the safety information!
I have hydro dipped a ton of stuff including shoes, and never once did I ever think about swirling the water, fantastic creativity and idea!

This is so great, I’m not much of a Unicorn person but I love the overall idea. I just got a cup turner for my birthday 🎂 yesterday and I can’t wait till I get the rest of the things to get started. As for keeping paint out of the inside as well, you can take a plastic bag (think Walmart bag) and put the lid in it and then twist the bottom (make sure there arent any holes in the part that will be exposed) and attach the lid (with the bottom part thats twisted inside the cup). It will keep paint from getting inside the cup when you hydro dip. Very simple and quick technique.

When you dunked the cup was the white paint on the cup wet or dry? Did you say you put Vaseline on the inside of the cups?

I have question to ask you about sand paper to sand on the epoxy coat. What number of sand paper to sand on epoxy to make it smooth ? I am learning and wanna make one for myself.
I just made a few. I experienced paint bubbles. I also got a ridge of paint on mine when going in at an angle like you showed. Any advice would be appreciated!! They still look awesome just thick paint in a couple areas and some paint bubbles.

I'm confused in the descriptions you call the glitter Curtis, but in the video you said it was balas lagoon?? It is a really challenging project, but really fantastic ☆ I think I liked it better before you put on the glitter, I probably would use the glitter sparingly ♡

Hi Janet. I'm a mod helping Summer, and wanted you to know she used room temp water from the tap.... and seals her decals with clear coat 2,-3 coats to seal well. Thanks for your inquiry😉

Modern podge the ink. It seals it in. I think she usually sprays a clear coat on tho. Either way just seal it so ink doesnt run.

What machine do I have for cutting the white waterslide. I can't get my cricut to cut waterslide. It won't register and it's so annoying
put matte finish tape over the lines!!! It is the shiny of the paper that messes it up!
