11 years ago and this video is still as relevant as ever in 2023. I'm 54, a 25 year re-entry rider and just bought a 2011 Yamaha Star Stryker 1300cc bike after owning and trading in a 2001 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 in IMMACULATE condition from a retired rider who loved this bike since it was new, with ALL DUE RESPECT to the couple who were so kind in helping me get back into riding. So, I own the 2011 Yamaha Stryker now and when I was in the process of buying it I walked the showroom, of course, and there was a brand new 2023 Honda FURY in canary yellow for sale on the showroom floor with a "SOLD" sign attached to it. Two weeks later, which was a few days a go, I was riding in Santa Rosa, CA and I passed a blue HONDA FURY ! I turned around, attempted to follow him. Saw him again in the opposite direction, did another U-Turn. Followed him into the shopping center off Sebastopol Road. Turns out it was the SAME friggen' bike and he just had it wrapped in Mad Max Sparkle Blue and it looks KILLER !!! We traded numbers and he's now a friend. We will ride our 1300's !!!

Sorry to double dip, in all my excitement to tell you all my story, I completely forgot to say that this frame with flat black tank, and fenders looks SOOOooo PERFECT and makes me realize for the 1000th time that HONDA friggen' RULES. I just saw the documentary on the HONDA RUNE which made my mouth water. I've owned EVERY Honda Interceptor model, and the CB750. Honda rules for a reason. I LOVE the big 4 , Slayer, Megadeth, and the other big four....
Have had 6 or so bikes over the past 30 plus years and by far my 2012 fury is the best of all factors from any other machine I've owned or even drove..he is right honda hit the head of the nail ..basically nailed it with the fury..a fun and exciting bike to ride..but without the aches and body soreness..love it.best bike purchase..even the price is comfortable..

Bought mine brand new in 2012, swapped out the stock exhaust to cobras... and WOW... other then some led blues lights for show effect (bike is the electric blue)..and the exhaust I lefty everything stock.. and it STILL turns heads four years later. love this machine.
As a real manly man from Australia, I can tell you the fuel tank is far to small. All that space upfront forward under the fuel tank could be utilised as a larger capacity fuel tank without compromising design.

They missed an important detail, she mentioned it was the same power plant as the earlier vtx model (no differences) , but there are a couple major differences... Fuel injection and different Cam Lift on this bike.
a query ... I do not know anything about this world of motorcycles, I only know that this motorcycle model I love ... but ... I measure only 1.76 cm ... does the factory configuration look good for me? body size? Is it possible to put a bigger and thicker tire back? Maybe they are silly questions but I do not know anything about this ... I prefer to ask.
Just picked mine up its a 2012 in blue, the engine pulls like a train and I am heavy in fact you would think that the engine is much larger then it is,gear changes are wide and long settles down at around 80 mph no fuss,crap around tight corners will throw you out and bottoms for a song,but all in all a very very good ride umm but the seat only good for 100 miles great sound with slash cuts

just got mine this weekend ,, i own two harleys , and i can say that it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy smoother , faster , and def has a cleaner look ,,,,,,,,,,,,, wish i woulda bought it sooner
Don H just curious but how does this compare at around 75 mph to the harleys...debating on a fury or harley softail and would like to be able to cruise comfortablely on the interstate if need be
To me owning both, it was smoother. Zero vibration, heat from motor is limited due to being water cooled. It really only get a bit different above 85. But i still have crazy excelleration at that speed. My HD's beat me to death.
I like the bike, however, you better pass your motorcycle skills test on a different bike. Doing the stunts most states make you go through to get a license is difficult on a regular rake, on that bike it would be near impossible.
the cpu is limited to 98mph i've owned mine for two years and the only way i can go faster is down a steep hill and even then its difficult because of motor drag. cops radar guns have been proven in court to be off by over 10mph so next time this happens tell the cop he's full of it.
Slow, handles like shit,tiny, tiny fuel tank, it's shaft drive, and it's expensive. Also named one of the worst motorcycles. Terrible, awful bike. And since when is 72NM torque considered a lot? lmao
72nm isn't a ton, but it's not insignificant either. A cbr600rr is about 66, and at over 11k rpm, the fury makes it's max torque at 3000rpm. It provides that butt tearing torque basically the second you touch the throttle. Also from what i can see, the people in this video were totally wrong, the fury is rated at 74hp and 123n/m of torque. 123 at 3k.....that's significant. I've been on a cruiser that was putting 140 to the rear wheel at about 3700, and it definitely did not feel under powered. My bike is about 95nm @ 5500.

I have the burnt orange Fury. Road the Tail of the Dragon in late Sept. Rode it with my wife on back. Love my bike and it always turns heads.
