@@tornasever HAHAHA
Your runway lights were in the air in the intro, think you need to delete the default airport if you bought scenery! Great video mate, loved the structure!
Thanks for mentioning this, I just picked up KBOS the other day and did a night flight where the runway lights were elevated haha
I have a similar issue after buying John Lennon Airport in the UK, do you know the file where asbo airports are?
@@jsa2001 It's in the Content Manager within the Sim
Curious for MSFS 2024, but I shall wait until the dust settles and I read the first reviews. I will mostlikely buy it nevertheless, just ot the second it comes out.
Nice, from what I know of Sim Update 15, these updates align with my picks as well. I believe there will be some World Update fixes as well around the same time as Sim Update 15 which will be welcome or maybe I imagined this? I'm also aware some ATC fixes will be included which is badly needed. All in all, it will make a great sim even better!
Really looking forward to SU15's expected memory handling improvements and how that translates into various sim scenarios. Re 2024, I won't jump straight in, but once it's confirmed that stability and third-party integrations are good, then I'll be buying.
Same over here in respect to the third-party integrations
Great video my friend. I’ve been a bit scarce recently (life stuff) but you keep me updated and love the channel. From your number 1 subscriber) ❤❤❤
Hope you’re well, Mackem! Fear not, there’s always a first class reserved in your name 👍
Nice content David!
I’m looking forward to hopefully more stability especially for those of us flying the Fenix perhaps less stuttering at times would be awesome. As far as MSFS 2024, I think I may hold off until any bugs if any are sorted out.
Cheers
I’m looking forward to any improvements to the taxi handling on the A320s. I’ve tried several adjustments to the sensitivity of the nose wheel tiller but without any real success. 🥳👍
I have one for you: buy pendular rudders. Game changing.
@@homasas4837 I’ve got the Thrustmaster pedals which aren’t great. I use the twist grip on my side stick as the tiller
@needlesbeckett yeah yeah. So once again : use a pendular, it will solve your taxi problem. It has nothing to do with the sim.
Another great video. Thank you.
Question - what airport was used in this video? Looks great, looks familiar and cant put my finger on it.
In the beginning? Las Vegas
Hopefully the 'missing ground textures issue' will be resolved
I’m pretty sure it should
Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s overlooked 🤷♂️
I have a fix for it
I don’t get it at all on dx 12
@@ITSMTAKANJITOOU Could you share it with us? That would be awesome.
The BlackSquare Duke release has been delayed until the SU15 update, which is the main reason I want this update as soon as possible. 😎
Same especially the turbine version. That’s the one i want to get.
Thanks for the vid! I would really like to keep the 2020 version; they would need to do something amazing like having WORKING weather radar. I am thrilled with the Fenix A320 and my PDMG planes. I am content for the moment with keeping this version. if 2024 had working weather radar... that's the only time I would jump on it.
I sort of wish I wasn’t on the beta then cos I’m not really noticing much improvements in any areas you mention but since there’s been a few updates maybe they snuck up on me gradually…. Fast jets (f14 and tornado) are still woeful unless you turn off vortexes etc and whether quest 3 using meta link or VD I still experience stuttersville every now and again for no apparent reason ever so randomly … I got max system (4090) and I’ve been tuning since msfs2020 first came out .. some days are better than others so I’m sure it’s down to their servers and traffic. But having said all this I’m still very happy MS continue to push forward and I’ll be a 2024 first day adopter … just hope that will actually be in 2024 ! 😂
Thanks For The Update!
Hey!
W yter
Will stay on FS2020 and will see the review and hardware requirements for FS2024 before upgrading
Hope they fix ATC which does not working properly and talk back to pilot at times!!
I am looking forward to A320neo (ASOBO VERSION) fixing the centre fuel tank issue and the MCDU miles to destination being sorted along with EFOB calculation.
I will probably fly out 2020 version for a little bit - I feel 2024 version has come quite early but hey whatever.
*JOHN 3:16*
Some day's are better then others but, 😃👍It is good that we all helped improve MSFS now FS 2024 should be Epic
Hopefully theyre gonna fix the lines in clouds bug in Su 15 (for users that use DX 12 Frame Gen) super annoying!!
I use VR so, I first need to be sure that VR works in 2024. I would also be interested in how much parallel processing has been introduced into the Sim.
For me the state of AI is the biggest immersion killer in the sim, so really looking forward to seeing what su15 will bring. I'll get 2024 after I read some real user comments, probably will have to wait for a SU or hotfix 😉
hi great video! when will this sim update be released because it is May 7 at 8:30 p.m. and I still cannot install it
MSFS2024 will be a day one purchase for me. However, much like it was with MSFS2020, my full-time move to the sim will come after add-ons like the Fenix A320, PMDG 737 are available in the new sim. But I'll certainly be using MSFS2024 from day one flying around low and slow checking it all out. I'm hopeful MSFS2024 will make available the camera API data so the awesome guys at //42 can release Chaseplane for it. Fingers crossed....
I will be jumping on MSFS 2024.
It wont be that good if the fenix or PMDG dont go over
@@JoinEliteClanAll mods will be compatible
Which to me is an issue more than you think. If so many mods will be compatible, will they have fixed a lot of the issues with 2020 in 2024@Tpr_1808
@@Chrisp707- Developers normally have access to core functions via an API. So this should not be an issue.
@seattime4075 it shouldn't be. However msfs 2020 has a lot of stuff still locked and encrypted that devs don't have access to. Yes the API is more open than it used to be but it's no where near as open as you'd want it to be how it is for say XP.
I will jump immediately into 2024
Thanks for the updates. I was hoping to see ATC improvement somewhere on the roadmap. Not sure why it hasn’t been done yet.
Likely because there's AI ATC coming which kinda reduces the priority of improving default atc
@@ruhaan6216 - Makes sense. Thanks.
@@alapjani8508 cheers mate
Do you think the ini builds a320 will be as good as the Flybywire one?
Hopefully it’s not delayed again!
According to MS the final version is not agreed yet due to issues still to be resolved.
If Asobo did indeed back port 2024 feature to msfs, that fact alone prompt me to buy the next installment just out of pure respect and knowing they won't screw me over and actually care for the community
Has anyone else had issues with the latest Nvidia drivers and DX12 in MSFS? If I make any changes or try to run it in full screen the sim crashes. In DX 11 it works fine.
I'm on my second attempt to download this sim I purchased 40th anniversary premium edition I have slow download speeds on my 3rd day of the second attempt but my last attempt
MSFS 2024 if VR performance doesn't suffer and they keep addon compatibility.
I'll most certainly be buying MSFS2024, but will wait for a few weeks after release to make sure there aren't any major bugs with it before making the plunge.
As a console user SU15 results will be my decision maker on purchasing FS2024. If I still run into black screens and airports that won’t load or CTD shortly after loading in then I’m sure I can expect the same in FS2024. 🤞
How can you play on console and get CTD?
@nascimentol835 I play on Xbox X series, and I have ALL the same problems.
@@nascimentol835 Its basically that the sim closes up and sends you right back to the xbox main screen as it you closed the game its a little bit annoying
Console """"simmers"""" are the reason the game is held back.. So their xbox doesnt blow up.. Just switch to PC.
@@nascimentol835do I really have to explain this to you?
Will this update make pmdg 737 work as it should ? If so I’ll upgrade straight away 😂
I will probably wait a week to make sure everything is going smoothly with transitioning Add-ons over to MSFS 2024. If I cannot use my Add-ons from MSFS 2020 at release, There will be no point of purchasing MSFS 2024 at release. So, Hopefully it will be a smooth transition.
I’m gonna buy MSFS 2024 as soon as it’s released just to see how it is but I think that MSFS 2020 will remain my main sim for quite some time. That’s how it’s always been for me in my simming career since FS98 😊 Performance I’m always interested in, but I’ve always been realistic, to play it all on ULTRA settings you always need to have the latest hardware and stuff and since I also have a wife and kids and a bunch of other things I like in my life I don’t upgrade my PC every two months 😂 So by tuning the graphic settings down a notch I can play a smooth sim (and yes also on landing) and still enjoy the virtual world.
If I can port all my addons to MS2024, considering I spent much more upgrading to the premium deluxe version, then I would. Otherwise, I'll wait!
More expense, depends on cost, either way I will wait see how it pans out.
I'm running dcs as well so not a cheap hobby 🤣
Some strange goings on with the floating runway lights at 0:40...
Yeah the replay tool I think
2024 right away
I'm not going to purchase MSFS 2024 right away, I'm going to wait at least 6 months before installing it, knowing how Asobo and Microsoft go about releasing their products is the reason, after all they've had 4 years to fix the issues with MSFS 2020.
I assume this video was produced using SU15 1.37.15 as 1.37.16 was released yesterday. SU15 beta has gone forward and backward with performance with the latest update slightly worse off than the earlier updates - can't remember which one as there have been far too many.
It wasn’t produced with SU15, the footage is just clips for various bits I’ve recorded over time. More just to discuss SU15. I’ve got some benchmarking in the bank with SU14 so look forward to comparing the release version of SU15
I may wait a month or so before jumping on 2024, but not much longer.
deffo staying on 2020, atleast until we know exactly what 2024 is for us who only do airliners - no point jumping on if fenix/vatsim/carreer mods etc doesnt work
There’s no new world updated region with one is there? Are sim updates and world updates different things?
Correct! They’re separate
If there is a 4 year turnover of this software, then you would have to get 2024 as early as possible to get the most out of it. You wouldn't want to get it 2 or 3 years in when they are about to release a newer version again.
W8 is it msfs or other simulator??
Still no flyby view?
Beeeta? It's bay-tuh mate
I'm still staying with P3D Mainly because of my PC and the unmatched realism of FSL a320
will the ground texture fixed in dx 12 ??
I REALLY hope so! I’m always getting that
The a320 neo is the third best thing in SU15? cmon. like you said, we don't need more A320s. ☹
It is a good one
Is that Klas in the beginning
Yep!
Is the inbuilds a320n free on console or is it payware
probably payware
@@azurehamood It's free
Nice hopefully my 4090 can finally run msfs at max settings 😂😂😂
I get stutters when I run Little Nav Map, anyone else.
Ground handling for me. I'm tired of GA-s cantering like loose skittles on an ice rink simply because of some momentary excess thrust.
And as far MSFS2024, I'll give it a pass for now until things stabilise.
It's been nearly 4 years, what makes you think MSFS2020 will stabalise before MSFS2024 😆 Ps for me at least the sim is very stable. 99% issues are not anything to do with the sim, but I admit perhaps it can be fragile depending WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING on your system.
@@dtrjones what in like 5 years time
The Stock A320 Neo is better overall performance wise the new one they have is awful with stutters out the a$$ and I'm running a 3060ti Asus gaming edition.
What plane is that at 3:45
The 747-8
@@AirNOTT thanks! The wing looked different from that angle I wasn't sure😂
It’s not there ;(
There's a new beta out so it'll probably be delayed once again. I don't care for SU15 I just want the dukes. But first need to be brought back to the boil once again.
So you do care about SU15, because you're not getting the Dukes until that releases 😃, but yes the Dukes will arguably more involving than the Comanche, exciting times! 🤩
@@dtrjones I just wish it didn't affect the dukes release. I'm happy with my sim at the moment. The updates sound like they'll be welcome to others however
Day one inshalah ❤❤😊
Yay
is it just me noticing that the runway lights on the first few seconds are ALL wrongly placed?! Are you @AirNOTT maybe not on the SU15 beta? Asobo deserves NO gold star thus far. even when just reading through the beta forum.
That’s my replay software bugging. That footage wasn’t from su15
The update is gonna be a fuck up I bet.. I hope it don't stuff the game up more then what it already is.
Great updates, but the revolution on MSFS will come with the addition of "shared cockpit" on MSFS2024. A fun multiplayer experience with real instructions capabilities is the way to make the jump to the next level.
Personally, I'm sticking with MSFS 2020 for at least another two years, because when MSFS 2020 came out, I immediately bought it as a Premium Deluxe version and was disappointed because it had so many fatal bugs in the beginning, it was literally unflyable because the autopilot would ram me into the ground at the most impossible moments. But I'll be happy to follow the content creators on youtube to get an idea of the new sim and if all the teething troubles are fixed after 1-2 years, I'll probably get it too, although I'll probably wait until I get a completely new gaming PC of a newer generation. Greetings from Bavaria/Germany.
I’m going to sit on the fence with MSFS2024 and see the reviews etc first ! Although I expect it’s going to be good but we will see ! I’m suffering with stutters at the moment so with the SU I’m hoping that this will be cured 🙏🏻 great video as always 👍👊❤️👨✈️✈️
What else is going to break with over 200+ changes? Better yet........what are the chances that it WON"T break on this update?
not really, seems like the performance isn t that great with the latest builds , resulted in many delays so far ... msfs 2024 is the answer for all .
I wouldn't get my hopes up that 2024 is a magical fix.
I really hate when the plane is in autopilot mode and the altitude is never reached correctly and I wish the altimeter would set automatically
What’s the use of buying 2024? Wasn’t 2020 the last sim you’d ever need? More standard asobo planes, same sim underlying cause otherwise planes wouldn’t be transportable.. more stutters, more missions and marketing stunts at the expense of performance… all for the price of a entire new sim… yeah not for me! What Asobo/Microsoft should do imho is fix the current sim, remove cars diving under bridges, giant generic airliners posing as taildraggers , Minecraft terrain, floating tree lines and skate park rivers! And then sell 2024 as an in sim addon for whoever wants it, I loved this sim and still do but a new sim is just going to be more of the same! And if they want to add something useful, maybe integrate vatsim in the sims menu so you don’t have to switch screens to file a plan or see which towers are active, and remove the AI atc all together, now that would impress me far more than any Reno or Top Gun..

Sim Update 3? Charlie, we've got one here! 🥸
clickbait no update if any still same
Microsoft has a habit of pushing out trash in their updates! I don't think I've EVER come across an update that was anywhere worthy of ANY of the YT videos that state all the wonderful updates. So - NOT against you - but, I don't put any trust or weight in ANY of these TH-cam videos that talk about the "wonderful things" to expect in any update Microsoft puts out. SHAME on Microsoft! and I'm serious about that. Shame on them! They should have addressed the performance issues from the very start - the VERY start - and they haven't. Maybe I'm whining a bit too much - my apologies.
QUACK.
