On Apr, 09 2016 we filmed this Ausfahrt.tv - Video - Review introducing the 2016 Porsche 718 Boxster S to you. We had a chance to drive the car during the international press driving event in Lisbon, Portugal for a couple of hours. Loved this video. Have watched many videos on 718 and this was the most enjoyable and entertaining. Good info and a fantastic narrative style - quirky English was part of the enjoyment! I agree, I think Porsche did a great job designing the exhaust sound - look up their TH-cam video on how they engineered this. Love the 718 S Boxster!

I only watched the driving part of your video since your videos are too long for my taste. So it's possible I missed the part where you talked about the suspension. My question is: what type of PASM was featured in your Boxster S. The normal PASM (10mm lower) or the Sport PASM (20mm lower)? You said it's a rather comfortable ride, so I guess it was the normal PASM.
Can you just throw a spoiler on the back? It looks sexy from the front but I keep feeling like the back needs a nice looking spoiler to even it out.

*constructed OPINION on why this DOES NOT sound like a Subaru....*. Let's talk about three common music/sound elements. Pitch. Rhythm (which in this case we will use the exhaust patterns instead) and tempo (which in this case we will use show fast it goes to fast revs) . Literally same Porsche patterns. However, lower pitch (unless u hate lower pitch, then u also much hate muscle and AMG cars), and lastly the tempo is still Porsche. The ONLY possibly STI sounding part is the first few few rpms where there's some air blow sounding revs. But barely game breaking...I am NOT saying it's better than flat 6. Hells no. But y'all need to stop riding this hype hate train and maybe use your ears instead of bandwagon opinions :) it ISNT as good as flat 6. But it is NOT a Subaru.
Also keep in mind videos barely do this car justice and many do not have sports exhaust. Again..not better than flat 6. But u guys are incredibly harsh for absolutely no reason.
Sometimes it even sounds more like 4.0 V8 from AMG than a Subaru.

I have driven this car, and this is a piece of shit. No sound, no fun at all, this engine hates to be used, it does not want to rev. I hate these bought "objective" reviews. Total lie, forget it, get a 981 non -S S GTS whatever, but stay the fuck away from this soon to be scrap metal.
