Quite brilliant and refreshing take on the 2.5 4 boxer motor. Rather than look back and compare the sound with the previous 981 you make the point that the 981 was getting out gunned by souped up shopping trolleys. exactly right to think of the the 718 as a shot in the arm to keep the best handling car ahead of the hatch pack

Bobby, i must say this. I watched your other video about huracan, lusso, aventador and everything else. It puts a smile on my face. But this porsche though, my heart beats so hard i dont know why. Its like i found the right girl of my life. Its makes me feels that i want to spend the whole of my life with her. Even though im not a rich guy but i want to dream of her..that someday i will able to marry her. Thank you bobby for giving your honest review about it. Thats why i love watching your review. In fact, i stop watching motortrend, TG etc because theyre quite mainstream like. You in the other hand, makes me feels that im the one who's driving the car. Thanks

I noticed at 27:20 you accelerated hard. Do Porsches need breaking in or can you just push them right out of the factory?

The boxster exhaust tips was always in the middle as well we the hard surface on the conv top.

Thank you for this video. I emailed me salesman in the middle of it and RE-ORDERED my 718 Cayman which I had on order from April last year, and cancelled in October... Iam now SOLD on it (in Miami Blue of course) :D

It sounds quite similar to my 2015 WRX when pushed
I was heavily considering 718 turbo, 981 i6 na , mx5 nd and gr86 even supra a90. the 718 can murder all but turboed. the nd is serious space challenged but i rly prefer Na. The 981 machine is a well coveted i6 but will be seriously under-utilized by me as I don't track so after a long long consideration, I think I will go for the gr86 with all street usable power, thats why it will be a fun car. I had the integra R before. Weaker than my Wrx but very fun...I miss the 8,000 especially.
Good turbo cars are abundant including Wrx. If overall balance, performance and daily Bmw Golf Gti Porsche are the go to. Refinements i'd choose Lexus.
To me Na cars are special. 1 good Na car is a must in one's garage.
Is this as loud as the 991.2 Carrera S with sport exhausts?
So why have Navi & Map different buttons - like the Renault Clio?

You were having soooo much fun, made me wanna go and get one, only if i could afford it :) Anyway i bought my E92 cos the old Boxster could not fit a golf bag. Was wondering if this one can fit a normal size golf bag in it's 'enormous' booth? Time to upgrade my E92, was thinking of the BMW 2 coupe but i would love a Boxster, Porsche mah ;) btw the cup holders and door cubby space are just like the ones in my E92.

Now that's a good question. But I'd be amazed if the others are more fun to drive than the Porsche... I suppose it also depends on the driver though.

You said that the regular boxster doesn't have the sport and sport plus buttons in the wheel but isn't true. I have one and it's an extra calles sport chrono
because it has a boxer, a rather flat engine, they can hide it under roof and rear boot.

Mate - you need to brush up on your knowledge. At least two mistakes. Eg. the difference between the S and non-S versions in so far as the steering wheel is concerned
