is it practical to have a car while in college? how will it affect my financial stability?

If the car will only be used to transport you from your home to school then no, it is not yet practical but if the car will also be used for carpool/grab and will generate income equivalent to your maintenance,gas, insurance and monthly financing then it will make sense financially.
