It’s pronounced ‘Melburn’ not ‘Melborn’ I know a lot of people get it wrong thought I’d give a heads up.
Top 20 Sports Venues Mojo's editor NEED To See Before He Dies
My brother is a diehard Manchester United fan, so we went on a tour of Old Trafford for his birthday. He still remembers that outing fondly.
I feel like the MCG should have been higher and connected more to australian football in the description. That is truly when it's at its greatest. 100,000 fans on The AFL grand final day.
Taylor swift earlier this year over 96,000 mostly the big games only get around over 80,000
No.1 should be your local venue. for me, it’s Whaddon Road. (It’s a recommendation, and captures the heart of fans of lower league football games.)
No. 1 IS my local venue LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🔊🔊🔊🔊
As a Chicago native I HIGHLY recommend going to Wrigley to anyone who visits the city. Magical place.
Overrated I thought.
You should do a top 10 for each sport
I agree
All these arenas and stadiums yet Allianz Arena (Germany), San Siro (Italy), Singapore National Stadium, Koshien Stadium (Japan), Jakarta Intl. Stadium (Indonesia), Yankee Stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), and La Bombonera & El Monumental (both Argentina) are not included smh
Lmao
Out of shear bitterness putting Anfield above Old Trafford. Respect lol
Why would u wanna visit Old Trafford with it leaking waterfalls!!
Name another ground on earth that’s been bombed, seen multiple legendary figures grace the playing field, the largest club stadium in its country and has a natural waterfall all at the same time 😂
Name another stadium with its own waterfall
Wrigley Field is the most beautiful ballpark in the MLB. Not to mention that the houses across the street have rooftop decks where people can watch the game. In and out of the park is unique to Wrigley!!
Wrigley, Fenway and Dodger Stadium should never be torn down.
Wembley not being in the top 5 is insane
Wembley looks nice but it is overrated af, used more for gigs than actual matches.
More concerts than sports
I was literally only watching this to see Fenway, and as it got closer and closer, I was worried. Number one baby! ⚾️
So we're not gonna add the United Center? The craziness of the Madhouse on Madison on a fever pitch night is insane.
Celtic Park in Glasgow is another stadium I would recommend, it is home to Celtic FC, oddly during the stadium tour, I didn't know the current stadium itself moved 100m from the original location.
Happy to see Anfield on here, but was surprised not to see Notre Dame stadium or Augusta.
No german stadiums? Lol. This is a bad list. Why is Madrid’s stadium so much lower than Camp Nou? Plus Maracana and Wembley should be higher on list than Old trafford and Anfield due to their history. L list.
You can see the list was made by americans to americans.
I was gonna say the same thing 🤣
😂😂😂😂
Ummm no??? Made by Canadians actually
Let’s hear your list
Nah. We just pilfer the public for money to build them better than the rest of the world.
IntuiDome will become iconic in due time
Le Mans, Croke park, Spa, Monza, la bombonera, Celtic Park, and so many more missed
IKR and there is no mention of non Oval or non American tracks like Mt Panorama, Nurburgring, Suzuka, and of course Le Mans.
I love that you added footage of bobby Firmino's goal to rub salt in the wounds😂😂😂
Good list
Why is the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California not on this list?
Yes of college football games it’s number one I would be less upset about this list if even one college football stadium was on here
If I may add another. 20........
1: Monaco F1 Circuit, Monaco
2: LA Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles
3: Olympiastadion, Berlin
4: Yankee Stadium, New York City
5: Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow
6: Mercedes Benz Superdome New Orleans
7: Michigan Stadium Ann Arbor
8: Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles
9: Stade De France, Paris
10: Talladega Motor Speedway, Alabama
11: Sofi Stadium, Inglewood CA
12: Imola F1 Circuit, Italy
13: O2 Arena, London
14: Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg
15: United Center, Chicago
16: US Bank Stadium, Minneapolis
17: Mercedes Benz Stadium Atlanta
18: Roland Garry's, Paris
19: Rose Bowl, Pasadena
20: And finally, one from my hometown
BELL Centre, Montreal
I'm thinking Le Mans, Spa, Monza, Bathurst, Daytona, Indianapolis, Silverstone, and even Phillip Island.
I’d like to also add you get to actually see 6 champions league trophies at anfield (don’t get that anywhere else in the uk)
Well it was hard for other English teams to win them after you lot got English teams banned because your fans acted like animals.
MCG should be 1
AGREED 10000000000000000000%
3:08, 3:58 ,6:00
At the MCG, there's a different colour seat to signify the landing of the biggest maximum (6 runs) ever hit at the stadium during a cricket match.
HOW IS LA BOMBONERA NOT ON THIS LIST?!??!
I couldn't help but notice that when you were talking about Madison Square Gardens, nothing was said that Madison Square Gardens is also the hollowed home of WWE Wrestling.
I think Ellis Park is a pretty important Stadium for South Africa. It serves as the main Rugby Stadium for Johannesburg as well as being the National Statium for tournaments. It was the location of the 1995 Rugby World Cup Final which saw South Africa win it's first RWC title (it's 1st out of a record breaking 4 titles). The tournament had historical significance as well, cuz it was the first time that a racially desegregated South Africa came together in unity and a then newly elected Nelson Mandela showing up in a Springbok jersey and lifting the Web-Ellis Cup with the team. Ironically the stadium was not named after William Web-Ellis (the inventor of Rugby), but rather a completely unrelated person. Plus the event itself was a nailbiter and a plane flew very low over the stadium to show support for the Springboks, which caused the already ecstatic crowd to go ballistic. Another important Stadium to visit in South Africa is Soccer City. It hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup final, a tournament which South Africa received a lot of praise from for their hospitality despite failing to succeed in the tournament itself.
I went to Wembley Stadium for the first time last year to watch AEW All IN going again this year as well.
I'm Brazilian but I need to vouch for Argentina's La Bombonera, home to Boca Juniors. "The Chocolate Box" is stunning.
14~ Mel~bourne not Mel~ born
Can't wait to see it
One day, I'll go to Wembley. 🎉
wow so Fenway Park is #1 and I'm shocked that Metlife Stadium isn't listed on here and what about Yankee Stadium! yes I'm a NY Fan but I'm more towards the NY Giants & the Rangers! but Seriously I'm not surprised that Metlife Stadium or Yankee Stadium aren't featured on here
Anfield is number one to u Ynwa need a part 2
Cameron Indoor Stadium, Michigan Stadium.. what about that huge one in Pyongyang even?
This list is all over the place
The only one of these stadiums I've ever been to is Fenway Park, 3 times from 2001-3.
There is absolutely no possible way for someone like myself to see even one of these venues up close and personal. No way.
Wrigley is an absolute dump.
I mean, it's awesome, as long as you don't want to...
sit comfortably, actually see the game, consume edible food, park, use the bathroom, not get puked on, not see rats, etc.
Modi stadium enga da
Madison square garden has to be #1, the worlds most famous arena
Surprised when you talked about the mcg, you neglected to mention it's the home to many afl clubs as well as the yearly home of the afl grand final.
silverstone should be on the list aintree racecourse al well as Santiago Bernabéu
AT&T stadium is the best stadium in the states. This is insane how low it is.
No, golf courses? St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, Augusta National?
I have actually been to games at two of these stadiums. Looks like I have 18 more to go...
Wrigley Field is NOT named for Wrigley Gum but rather William Wrigley - who owned both the Cubs and Wrigley Gum. They’re both named for the GUY
I was lucky enough to attend one of the biggest concerts at the MCG (Melbourne cricket ground) earlier this year when Taylor Swift performed in front of 96,000 people.
Even though with its name sake it’s mostly known as for Aussie Rules football from March-September then cricket November-January. In between is big sporting events like soccer or rugby. You might need to look at your facts a little more better.
BTW Melbourne is actually pronounced ‘Melburn’ not ‘Melborn’.
Bombonera.
No college football stadiums is nuts. Not even the Rose Bowl?? C'mon...
As someone who's a sports fan I am disappointed that Little Caesars Arena Ford Field in Comerica Park are not even an honorable mention it and you're from out of town you been to Detroit you know what I'm talking about
Forgot Philippine Arena ( Bulacan Province, Philippines) in the list
Himachal Pardesh Cricket Stadium, Dharmashala. Probably the most beautiful stadium in the world.
A very lacklustre lists. It's more of a history lesson from Google Maps than a bucket list. The guy doesn't even sound convinced himself.
LAs memorial collusem, Michigan stadium, the roman collusem, New Delhi cricket ground. Are missed but with only 20 sports nobody will be truly 100percrnt with this list
WHY wasn't Lincoln financial Field or citizens Bank Park from Philadelphia mentioned in this list at least in the having an honorable mentions for it same with MetLife stadium and meadowlands sports complex in New Jersey you should have had those in honorable mentions also
Liverpool doesn’t have a good atmosphere the only loud thing you sing is you will never walk alone😂
Mourinho, Wenger, Pep, Klopp, Sir Alex, Cryuff disagree with you “SL Gaming”
womp womp, jealous
How many times have you been?
@@stuartwalker9597 go a few times a season.
@@stuartwalker9597 never but people who have been said that the atmosphere is overrated
They included the MCG but not the SCG?
no San Siro. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
So Arrowhead isn't on this list??
What Beijing national has no history and you guys put this way above Azteca stadium that has more history than most of this list
Damn watch mojo. Stay away from sports stadium lists lol
mine
Allegiant Stadium
U.S. Bank Stadium
Santiago Bernabéu
SoFi Stadium
Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Allianz Arena
AT&T Stadium
Notre Dame Stadium should be on this list.
Top 20 demolished sports venues: Giants Stadium has to be on that list, as well as Shea Stadium and the old Yankee Stadium. Old Wembley, Candlestick Park, Kingdome… sorry most of these are American, we seem to be happy to destroy history, rather than preserve it like they do in Europe.
Old Trafford!!!???😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lords?
Solution to the cost surge for the Olympic Games and World Cup, we should just let USA host them all. Every city with a college seems to have a 50k seat stadium.
A Messi fan had to put campnou 2nd
Forgetting Madison square garden, Sofi stadium, allegiant stadium …….
Forgetting to watch the video (MSG is #3 on the list).
Where’s Tropicana field??
The masters in Augusta Georgia?
1875 isn't old for a racecourse
Hello good morning 😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉
Liverpool is not bigger and more successful that united..this was made by an American and a Liverpool fan 😂😂😂
Disappointed Augusta nationals isn’t on here
The reason a lot of euro stadiums got left off is simply culture, America is a melting pot more than yall will ever be so the cultures cross, if ur in England its mostly English people, us being a country not founded on a race boosts us culturally
Alvalade > ...
Who the f..k watch baseball and cricket 🤣
Most of the list is based on the legacy, and i respect that, and some of the movies legacy or marketing propaganda 🙂
1. San Siro - AC Milan, Milano
2. La Bombonera - Boca Juniors, Buenos Aires
3. Monumental - River Plate, Buenos Aires
4. O. A. K. A. - Panathinaikos, Athens
5. Westfalenstadium - Borussia Dortmund
6. Imola - F1, Italy 🇮🇹
7. Spa-Francorchamps F1, Belgium 🇧🇪
Some of missing on that list!
Where are things like Westfalenstadion, Nürburgring, Allianz Arena or Olympiastadion(Berlin)?! This list is made by Americans and it is absolutely crab!
Dodger stadium snubbed
Old Trafford is a dump very overrated just because it's big legendary club sure shouldn't be on this list 🖕🖕🖕🖕
Indianapolis is the greatest race track in the world.
How many turns does it have? 2
Nurburgring has 187.
Google the best race track in the world and this oval thing isn't even mentioned.
Why does the number of turns matter? A track can be great even with a few turns stop being ignorant
@@hannahbarley97 How do you show you are an American without saying you are an American?
Yes, you did succeed in doing just that.
Have you ever tried looking at a proper race track?
It's AztecA not Aztec stadium. Pronounce it properly ffs
How dare you list the Melbourne Cricket Ground and not even mention the sport that is played there 70% of the year!
Shame on you, Watch Mojo.
And take lessons in how to pronounce "Melbourne"
I'd go to that stadium to watch some AFL. Cricket...not so much.
I know its a long time be for i die but bro im 19 years old
How is Yankee Stadium not be on the list at all, let alone Fenway being #1 ???!!! Ugh!!!!!
wahhh
@@ChristopherBarbas-ud2ek a Bostonite I assume.
If you haven’t seen a braves game yet in Atlanta you ain’t living it’s so fun
Naw I'm good fam...
Dumb title..to see alll 20 before I die,I have to be rich like Elon Musk...most people can t even afford to visit 1
11:16 what are you talking about!???? MANCHESTER UNITED IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB IN ENGLISH FOOTBALL NOT Liverpool. Someone should stick to watching basketball and baseball.
Why is liverpool on the list🤣
Because it's one of the few stadiums that actually haunts the opponents
@@1God10 its still a joke that Liverpool is higher on the list than real Madrid
@@marcoguldbrandsen3014 that might be true.
