thumbs up and like if you are here after watching Netflix Castlevania Season 2. I bet you do , want to learn more of "Hector" and "Isaac" , the best part are in the beginning.
I appreciate the serie is heavy story driven. But they could have work on a better script. Nothing in the serie is memorable. I can probably recite the half of the lines from the video games in LOI, COD, and SOTN (not naruto version) because they had good script rather than just words. MGS1,2,3 had good script except 4 that’s how I feel about this serie a MGS4. It is good except - need better writer - animation suck but excellent fight scene - lack of background music, vhd: bloodlust has the best music score most memorable. listen to the low tone bg music in this game. The serie has none of that!
Cant say I agree, also i like Show isaac better. This one is such a douche lol. He dresses like a douche and his personality is of a douche. Cold and calculating Isaac on the other hand is much more interesting. Not to mention he isn't devoid of emotions. His loyalty of Dracula is also quite interesting. It is absolute even when he knows Dracula no longer cares.
@@lelouche25 Wasn't this Isaac calculating enough for you?? He was the reason Hector's wife was falsely accused of being a witch and he led Hector to his trap.. Not to mention his madness and style and hair color were the exact opposite of Hector.. Like it was supposed to be.. No, the Netflix version of Isaac was SHIT.. Wish they stopped changing established characters in order to further their political agendas.. They pushed really hard the whole "black person was a mistreated slave" narrative for obvious reasons.. But that's not itself the problem.. The problem is they used Isaac for that role..
Hector & Isaac had an Abel & Cain chemistry that was left out on purpose in the Netflix adaptation. One of several moments, the Netflix adaptation squandered on purpose. Even for all its faults, the game version still remains superior.
I think its amazing the hardest boss in the whole game was Trevor and he wasn't even close to the final bosses. I wish games would follow such a model in the future.
@@DarkMirria1 Yeah but those bosses by then you had the familiar that could spam bone storm or bone spike storm whatever and it was a major constant AOE that knocked everything back and did damage. You didn't get access to that before this, if I'm correct.
This is the real hector right here folks if isaac manage to be a compeling villain in the series compared here how about hector? He was just an clown in the series i kinda hate warren did to him.
@Captain Cosmonaut If the point is to make him "a better hero" in the eyes of the audience, then they're doing a pretty bad job imo. From what I've seen, most of the general audience outright dislikes him because they think he's an idiot who doesn't learn from his mistakes and a spineless traitor who betrayed his lord cause Carmilla buttered him up with compliments and scared him with the prospect of dying. Nothing wrong with slow character development, but the thing is you actually have to show it. Two seasons already and the Hector from the show still has no development, no growth, no agency, no drive, shown no remorse for his actions, hasn't show any redeeming qualities nor any worthwhile skills besides his forging. His S3 story was just repeating the same faults and plot points we had already seen from him in S2, doubly more as this is the THIRD time in the show he's been fooled by a vampire. As someone else said, compare him to Isaac. Isaac has actually shown great development, with none of the gruelling, constant humiliation and while being allowed to be an absolute badass with agency and drive from the moment he appeared on screen, no "build up" excuses. And it has paid off, Isaac gets showered with love by the audience who declare him to be one of the best things about the show and a huge improvement over his game counterpart. He's even cheered on despite being on a quest to destroy humanity, while Hector is just a pitiful figure that most don't even feel sorry for. I want to believe they'll actually let Hector rise in the show, but S4 seems a bit too late for me to just start developing him into something resembling a decent character. Wish they had started in S3 but I guess the writer was too busy masturbating to his petplay/femdom fetish to give Hector a good character arc lmao
+alxxz There are two manga volumes that explain the events that led to the game's events it's pretty good. Rosalie is on the front of one of them she is so pretty she has flowers in her hair no wonder Hector fell for her even if it meant betraying Dracula. :)
There's actually some theories about this on TV Tropes -- one being that Issac framed Rosalie in part to get to Hector, but also to protect his sister. I'm personally a fan of the theory that Issac thought Julia and Hector ran away together and ended up getting Rosalie killed, by accident.
hector in the games: one big angry badass forgemaster hector in the series: one little calm bitch isaac in the games: one little sassy hoe isaac in the series: one serious badass fucker.

2 thnigs 1. This game makes as much sense as Darth Vader riding a upside down unicorn while reading fifty shades of gray. 2. Hector's revenge is fullfilled when he banged Isaac's Sister
What the actual fuck indeed. If anyone asks why I despise Warren Ellis, Adi Shankar and everyone else at Netflix, I will point them towards their mockery of a show.
People say Julius was the strongest Belmont with Richter at a close second, but man, anyone who has played Dracula's Curse Castlevania 3 which is the hardest Castlevania game of all time, man, Trevor has people with a run for their money.
That fight on the future St. Germain was talking about, could it be when Julius finally defeat Dracula? Because he says "perhaps it will start a new one" meaning about the later games Aria and Dawn of Sorrow
This means in Castlevania timeline, it is Hector, the first human, to lift-up Dracula's Curse, not Simon Belmont, if following according to the chronological events of Castlevania.
whatever voice actor played Julia, I mean come on. Did the designer get his sister to fill in? every scene she was in I skipped. The male actors were PHENOMENAL. like.... seriously? and Julia was an essential part. Take note on SOTN and Maria and her voice actor. That voice to this day gives me the chills she's just utterly wonderful. Dracula was great, Isaac was great and Crispin of course. you have an A list voice actor I'm sure he was frustrated paired up with Julias VA.

@Mr. Reality i am not a his alternative account. I actually prefer red head Issac. But come on we all know redheads get replaced with blacks and mixed people in all media.
I commented this in another thread, but I think they combined Isaac and Zead into one character. Makes sense since Isaac's motivation is mostly to get revenge on Hector for betraying Dracula while Zead's is to bring Dracula back to life - put them together and you've got a season 3 antagonist that both Trevor and Hector have a reason to fight.
It’s pretty cool how the show and the game both have Saint Germain interact with the character Death in two different ways, it’s unfortunate that Hector in the show doesn’t have a single moment of badass dialog or have any badass moments like the Video Game Version
i really love the "time" themed characters on Castlevania such as the Time Gentleman (mainly the one on Castlevania Judgement cause its one of the best designs EVER in the franchise),its sad that Konami is in this current state, meaning we wont see a Castlevania game (at least a decent one) really soon or ever again,i really hope that they sell the rights of it to someone who can put the franchise back on trail, the universe around Castlevania is full of mistery to this very day and its a shame to see it die slowly like this
bajess Also, why does everyone in this game dress & walk around like they're a bunch of fancy-lad fruit cakes?! Especially Isaac. That guy must take it for the team....A LOT.
Isaac was voiced by Liam O'Brien!, i was not prepared for that!. To be fair i played this well before i started to care who the voices were behind the characters i like.
This game uses what would become common tropes of GOD OF WAR and Skyrim and still puts them both to shame. Magical weapons and armor, monster riding, bird riding, double jump, quick step and perfect guard. Crimson and Twinkle Rod are some of the best IDs. This game gets ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ from me. Outer wall reference.👁️
Out of all the games in existence, DMC4 is the best for making a movie out of its cutscenes. Each level starts and ends with cutscenes, except the start scene will end exactly where the end scene begins. Whereas most games simply just don't, as shown here.
Perhaps it will start anew. Those words from St. Germain manifest to something else entirely. Yes indeed Koji IGArashi made better making Bloodstained; Ritual of the Night. Given the circumstance I hope Konami sells Castlevania's IP one day and fall to the hands who truly cared. I find it unforgivable that the Final Castle War of 1999 is just wishful thinking up to this day.

Mortvia: Something ain't right with that dude... either of those dudes, some to think of it. Zead vs Germain: FIGHT! Like anybody with sense I watched LP’s and footage of the game first, or played it, to familiarize myself with the real deal before checking out the parody.
This Isaac made sense for the game's storyline as someone who was consumed by Dracula's curse of malice and madness. The Netflix Isaac made sense in the show since they redefined what Devil Forge Masters are and do as sort of higher necromancers with individualistic beliefs.

i love that they had this decision to make trevor fight isaac, it's so cool when important things happen without having to do with the main character
thumbs up and like if you are here after watching Netflix Castlevania Season 2.
It is good except
- need better writer
- animation suck but excellent fight scene
- lack of background music, vhd: bloodlust has the best music score most memorable. listen to the low tone bg music in this game. The serie has none of that!
@@XellosMetallium Completely agree, and the way they bastardized Hector and Isaac is unforgivable
So they included in season2 Hector and Isaac? Damn Netflix always turning shit great stories
Hector & Isaac had an Abel & Cain chemistry that was left out on purpose in the Netflix adaptation. One of several moments, the Netflix adaptation squandered on purpose. Even for all its faults, the game version still remains superior.

Hector=SIMP Isaac=Black Alucard=Gay Bottom
@Captain Cosmonaut Isaac is badass not a SIMP without building up excuse
@Captain Cosmonaut fingers crossed
Exactly! He became a slave to some bitchy vampires! What did they do to my boy?!?
You know Julia purposely fashioned herself to look like Rosalie to bag Hector.
Get 'im gurl.
+alxxz There are two manga volumes that explain the events that led to the game's events it's pretty good. Rosalie is on the front of one of them she is so pretty she has flowers in her hair no wonder Hector fell for her even if it meant betraying Dracula. :)
MotherNature101 I have both one n two of this manga I wanna find 3 and 4
There's actually some theories about this on TV Tropes -- one being that Issac framed Rosalie in part to get to Hector, but also to protect his sister. I'm personally a fan of the theory that Issac thought Julia and Hector ran away together and ended up getting Rosalie killed, by accident.
Hector is such a bad boy.first he killed Isaac and after that he made Julia his lover.naughty boy is naughty ;-):-)
@phastinemoon That makes some sense.. 🤔 The first part of what you said.

hector in the series: one little calm bitch
isaac in the games: one little sassy hoe

@Sir Percival the Gallant same here. Hector seems weak in the anime, but I'm hoping his redemption arc in season 4 or 5. It should be great.

Isaac's redesign for the Netflix show is one embrace openly as he was too flamboyant and over the top to fit the tone of the series.
I agree
@Mr. Reality i am not a his alternative account. I actually prefer red head Issac. But come on we all know redheads get replaced with blacks and mixed people in all media.
@Mr. Reality I agree, but for me atleast it hasn't ruined the series. It came close when Issac was in desert with those guys.
CV COD's Isaac is histerical paranoid psycho.
CV Netflix's Isaac is a Hanibal type sociopath
I love both
I commented this in another thread, but I think they combined Isaac and Zead into one character.

Koki Koka they speak in an old English style. The castlevania games take place in the Middle Ages from early to late medieval periods.
Abandoned Castle: Isaac - Ghirahim before Ghirahim existed.

I also wonder if the rumors are true, how the PS2 game might play on the PS5.
The Neflix Castlevania did great with Castlevania 3, but they did Curse of Darkness dirty. Probably because Castlevania 3 has a simpler story.

I never heard of castlevania until I saw the Netflix version. Not to long ago I watched the original Issac and I was surprised and a little confused but he was intresting xD.
I just wanted to see an accurate video game adaptation but we got animated fanfic AU headcanon instead.
I thought we were supposed to be past the whole “let’s make a video game adaptation but not actually make it look like the game it’s supposed to be based off of” trend?
I think the only video game adaptation that is actually good at making it look like the game it’s from is the artist for the Zelda manga. At least all the already established characters look like how they’re supposed to.
Well, as someone who saw their dad playing this, I'm used to the gay redhead Isaac and I really like him, the Netflix one is cool tbh, kinda disappointed because his design, but it fits with the series style
Like anybody with sense I watched LP’s and footage of the game first, or played it, to familiarize myself with the real deal before checking out the parody.
This Isaac made sense for the game's storyline as someone who was consumed by Dracula's curse of malice and madness. The Netflix Isaac made sense in the show since they redefined what Devil Forge Masters are and do as sort of higher necromancers with individualistic beliefs.
wouldnt stop til maxed this one out,all innocent devil forms, both towers, all difficulty, every damn thing, heres a tip....u cant evolve the last devil without forging the chauve sauris, same weapon issac carries
This was my favorite Castlevania game, and I'm so happy that Castlevania season 2 is using the characters.
Yeah, but they made Hector, Carmilla's Bitch
I figure the reason they brought in Hector and Isaac, aside from them having been there, was to start the build up for Season 3.
And the show's Hector still has time to develop as a character before he has to worry about all this. I'm looking forward to it.
