Did you opt for the $10K FSD package too?

Great video. The Plaid Model S base price is currently $130K, but different paint colors, interiors, wheels, tires can add more to the price. Also Full Self Driving is a $10K option. I ordered my Model S long range in February when it had a base price of $80K. With premium paint and interior and Full Self Driving, the cost went up to about $93K. It was delivered at the end of September. During the course of the year, there were price increases so now the base price is $95K. The Plaid Model S also had price increases (I think $10K) over the year. I am guessing that Sandy's Plaid may have the $10K FSD option, making the cost $140K. Looks like it has the standard paint and interior and probably the standard wheels.

The best endorsement from John is the 3 words : "I want it". I remember watching Autoline every week on PBS back in the 90's. So glad to see him having fun with the latest and greatest tech around. For someone who had driven a crazy amount of cars over the years, I can only imagine how it would felt to be in a plaid.

Turning with the Yoke - I've found the following to work well. Imagine making a right turn:
    1. grab top right corner with right hand and turn clockwise 90 deg.
    2. grab bottom right corner with left hand and turn another 90 deg. Yoke has now turned 180 deg, sufficient for most turns.
The benefit of this is that your hands are not reaching across the air bag so if it goes off it won't injure your arm.
I saw this on a driving instruction youtube channel and instructor was using this technique with a round wheel for the same reason.
