A bit of a mix-up here, Goku didn't drink the Sacred Water until the Piccolo Daimao Saga. Korin possessed normal water that he pretended was the Sacred Water to make Goku think he was stronger to fight Tao. It would make more sense if they all just trained with Korin like Goku did.

@@PlusUltraMan I was gonna have it where Goku actually landed near the Crane School and Shen took interest in him. So basically Goku might not ever meet Bulma. But it's always great to see other takes. Dm me if you ever need help with an idea or continuing this idea. What ifs are my thing.

Quick Edit! I actually misspoke here but essentially Goku maintains some of his innocence but I think he would adopt a bit of Tien's personality and just seem a bit more intense! Kinda like how his mindset is when he's in a super saiyan transformation. He's a bit more focused while Tien has become a bit more laid back!
Also the sacred water mistake 😋
I think you might be mixing up the Sacred Water with the Ultra Divine Water. The Sacred Water itself doesn't give any kind of power boost, as it was just tap water. The power boost came from the training Goku did to earn that water. The Ultra Divine water was in another dimension and wasn't needed until King Piccolo made his rounds.
I think this would result in a more mature Goku
What about Tien taking Krillins place throughout the series? Like Frieza kills Tien making Goku turn Ssj.

Just because Yajerobi made it up the tower doesn't mean it's not that hard. Yajerobi may be weak in DBZ. But in Dragon Ball, Yajerobi was roughly on par with Goku *after* the Sacred Water training.
That's a loaded statement, also one made from the assumption that I lowball Yajirobe I assume due to you specifiying DBZ vs DB. I've read the entire manga a few times now I have a pretty source material backed view on the scaling friend 👍🏿
@@PlusUltraMan Admittedly, I don't read the Manga and most of my knowledge comes from the Anime interpretation. But I also look up other sources. Even if they aren't official sources, I think they are valid as something to look at. For example, When Goku first met Yajirobe, he had a power of 180, equal to Tenshinhan during the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, as well as just as strong as Master Roshi. And when training on Kami's lookout in preparation for Vegeta's arrival, his power jumped to 970. And he wasn't even taking training seriously. If that's how high is power level can jump from just being lazy, imagine how high his power level could be if he took training seriously.
On the topic of the Saiyan Saga, even though Yajirobe's power is nothing compared to Vegeta, the fact that he was able to cut off an Oozaru's tail, an Oozaru with a power level of 180K, that's gotta count for something. Sure, it was just cutting off the unguarded tail and being able to sneak up behind Vegeta and all that, so the conditions were perfect. But it would still take significant strength to cut off that tail.
Also, I didn't mean to imply that you were lowballing Yajirobe's power level. But I can't deny that despite my intent, that was the implication nonetheless.
I recently started a What-If channel (which I have yet to do anything on so far). So perhaps my first What-If should be "What If Yajirobe took Training Seriously" because I think there's a well of untapped potential in him. But that's just my opinion.
Ok the sacred water...was a placebo lol. The benefit came from trying to catch Korin. You keep talking about the sacred water giving this power boost but it's not the water. It's from climbing the tower and trying to catch Korin. This has been confirmed after goku drank the water himself. Korin himself even said it! 😂😂

Goku would be way stronger. four armed whiches do don ray ki cannon neo ki cannon. he would still learn Kamehameha from roshi but he would learn it in the tournament.
Not to mention the flying technique was originally a technique of the crane school. So he should be able to fly early on.

Can you continue what if goku joined raditz? It's my favorite what ifs in this channel.
As I said in part 3 of the series it'll be continued! My goal with every what if is to convey the timeline until it matches the same amount of time as in the main timeline! I'm so glad you enjoy the series though!
So what is the estimated time
Plus- UltraMan I have an idea. How about you put the saiyans in the gravity room 100 times Earth's gravity and have them train there for a year. There powerlevel would be in 200,000 to maybe 700,000 and maybe get zenkais when facing frieza so they would be even stronger. Which would mean stronger androids because gero had a better data collection due to goku being there.

The same way they were able to in canon I suppose, it's never explained how they begun collecting them because it is canonically only 8 months after the last use whenever they began to collect them and be the focus of the story for the viewer and characters to notice

Right, either way the original story never explains why the balls aren't stone only 8 months after the last wish. I'm not sure what's confusing you
@@PlusUltraMan at the very beginning of the video, you said goku went to train with master shen because the dragon balls weren't activated. How was the red ribbon army able to find the dragon balls even though they were stone? Or did goku not notice immediately when the dragon balls were back?
Again not sure what you're confused about. The original story never gives an explanation as to why the Red Ribbon army was able to find the dragon balls only 8 months. There's no way for me to provide you with an answer the source material itself does not provide.

Honestly, I don't bother watching these further in because many times, it feels less like a what if, and more like a not really what if, I mean, after all, it really has gone exactly the same excluding minor changes, as if nothing was really changed because everyone just went back to the canon status quo.
Aww man that's sad to hear. Granted I've often thought of some different ways I could have done this timeline that would have been much different that I sadly didn't end up going through with.
That being said this timeline isn't as status quo as this part may lead you to belibe in fact the part after this one makes a huge change to the timeline and that's gonna trend out and continue through the series!
I try my best to keep my What ifs from being too uniform to the original timeline so I sincerely hope you check some other ones out like what if Goku joined Raditz because it's probably gonna be the furthest from status quo
I'm honestly trying to salvage this timeline into something different because of the choice I made in the first part didn't change the timeline enough

@@connorhall5665 nah what you're saying is definitely a valid criticism. The reason I usually try to stick to the major story beats of the series Is because #1 I am basically an overrated fanfic writer so I don't wanna make Bad fanfic just to throw ideas to the wall and see what sticks.
#2 there are mediums like that out there that do that kinda stuff and they do it well these what ifs aren't the same to me though.
Also this is probably my worst what if to judge changing thr status quo off of! I would definitely give some different stuff a try if I were you
The difference between a what if and a fanific to me (small as it maybe) is the exploration of a different sequence of events stemming from a different choice or small circumstance creating bigger changes as they ripple out.
A fanfic or fanmanga moves to change whatever needs to change with a usually poor reason to justify that change or circumstance
