Starting & Charging System Testing

In this video we test the battery starter and alternator on a common Toyota/Lexus vheicle. In the video we use both expensive and inexpenive digital meters to show you how to accurately diagnose these systems. Battery state of charge, cranking available voltage and charging voltage regulation are all covered. In addtion we demonstrate the proper steps for voltage drop testing of your charging system. Armed with this knowledge we hope you can fix your car right the first time.
