Believe it or not I've been the cause of several managers losing their jobs. They thought their position gave them the power over me, but discovered just how wrong they were. Doctors need to have the guts to do what's right, and their colleagues need to have the guts to support them.

I know a very senior NHS Consultant (about to retire - not at 55, but 65 - he owes them nothing) - he often speaks of the Bullying Atmosphere, which goes right up to his level.....but the 'bullying' comes from the Senior Management / Accountants that run the NHS TRUSTS ( a stupid John Major idea that Blair loved), not fellow Medics. As an aside, he says that the NHS cannot survive with the demands placed upon it - a combination of immigrants and Brits who have zero commitment to keeping themselves healthy. As he has said before, if the NHS model is so brilliant, why don't other countries copy it ? Well, we know why,.

In so many organisations one finds that those in senior management couldn't actually carry out the tasks that are an organisation's raison d'être.

And we all know what BLAIR did for our armed services,, he is illiterate, stone dead cold, he lost count of the dead and injured,
he simply flushed and burned away data after a drop in photo shoot (Iraq)
hazard a guess, censored the press ,
      dead men can't speak, RIP🇬🇧
      how do they sleep?

I have just left the NHS due to exactly that. There is no safe reporting. When I suggested a new initiative to ensure safety of staff (from grievance/harassment), biased promotions, it was ignored due to protecting the NHS reputation. I even took my concerns about the direction of MH (which was target and not client driven and created widening gaps and exclusion), and in my opinion, a consultant psychologist who had removed levels of safety, to executive level to no avail. In my integrity and aligning with trust values, I gave my notice after nearly 9 years in that job.

There's another type of victimised whistleblower the media doesn't mention. Its the whistleblower who is a regular member of staff (not a doctor) who's reported wrongdoing and been bullied out of a job and a career by managers in HR as a result.

So many doctors and nurses refused to have the jabs, because they saw how many were arriving in hospital with serious side effects, that the mandated jabs instruction was dropped.

Exactly. Lucy Letby raised concerns and it seems she might have been "set up" by the higher management / senior doctors to hide the incompetence and failings within the Baby Unit at Chester. When Lucy Letby was removed from her job, the death rates amongst the babies at the unit did not go down. To me, that could indicate Lucy Letby was not the likely cause of the high death rates. There were so many inconsistencies in her case with no actual evidence that she was guilty. I think she must have had a lousy lawyer.
