    It's the management!
I think we need whistle blowing at our GP practices too.
Today I received from my GP practice a text.
Saying my BMI was high. I could go along for a free weight management program or be given vouchers for weight watchers.
Before Christmas I developed a bowel problem where I was going to the toilet up to 8 times a day. I was diagnosed with Diverticular disease and lymphocytic colitis.
Nobody has checked on me to ask if I've had weight loss....I was also advised by a consultant to try not to loose weight.

I worked as a nurse and midwife in the NHS in the seventies and it was just as bad then. I would attend so many women in labour in an eight hour shift, I had to drink water just to unglue my mouth so that I could speak. I would go back to the nurses home, I couldn't afford to live in a flat, and think "Is this it then?" I went on a sailing holiday and signed on as crew. Goodbye NHS

If they do this to Doctors, IMAGINE what they do to patients! Against my daughter will and against the advice of two doctors, she is forced to take unsafe treatment, suffering needlessly, but safe treatment that works for her perfectly is denied to her. She has been tortured day after day with an adverse effect medication to fit the claim that she lacks capacity.
