    went and spent ~100K AUEC on a ROC, and followed your guide. I made almost triple that amount in hadanite in about an hour. Roc Paid for itself almost 3 times over in one session.

    You are waaayyy to close when mining, which is why your gems are exploding everywhere. Watch the optimal tick on the left in fracturing mode. You need to be in the green, not the red. Red = too close = explosions and damage.
    Ideally the little arrow on the inner side of the left range meter is aligned with the tick mark labeled optimal.

      That explains why my roc has it's angry lights on after an hour of basically parking ON the rocks i was mining lmao

      Yeah, the ROC had a bug for a while where it would randomly overheat and die. It took forever to figure out that it was a bug and not just bad technic or bad location (was on Aberdeen a lot). Still not 100% sure it wasn’t Aberdeen’s fault.

      On Magda, Arial and Daymar there are good chances for hadanite, too, and you don't need the expensive Heat-Suite.

    Solid guide and a great refresher for someone like me who has been playing for ages but rarely ROC mines.

    You deserve way more subs with how often you pump out quality content.

    Nice guide, I find it works better to transfer the gem from the box using the inventory terminal rather than the freight terminal.

    Good Video Again!
    I think you were standing to close to the rock when mining and that is why your ROC was damaged.
    If you look at the left Arc when you mine, you see the laser range and it goes up and down depending on your distance with the rock.
    Most of the rock you mined, your range was in the red on the left side.
    Also, I'm pretty sure it is the reason why it was taking a long time to get in the green and to break the rocks.
    Let me know if i'm wrong!

    • @robertlinva9503
      @robertlinva9503 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exactly. I learned the hard way to make sure I stay within the green range. That's still not a guarantee you won't take damage, however. If, for some reason, when in Fracture mode you overload it and the rock explodes, you will take damage even when in the green distance.

    So why use a box ? You can sell straight out of the roc or did they change it ?

    Man, I'm so sad they butchered the Cutlass Black's MFD's. These were one of my favourite MFD's in the whole game.

    forgot to add that it sometimes take 30 minutes to find some hadonite. so, not super profitable right now imo. still satisfying though.

    Roc mining was a great start to sc but the rocs extraction beam tested tf out of my patience, I swear that thing refuses to pick up anything half the time

  • @michaelpalmiere9923
    @michaelpalmiere9923 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    its faster to hold the beam over the area you want to extract, than targeting each gem.

    How do you move the gems from the Roc?? Do you HAVE to have a box?

    • @TheCoreGameplay
      @TheCoreGameplay  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You don't have to have one but you going to put them in your backpack then

    Until they sort out being able to put the stuff in a container, and sell the contents directly from the container? Hand mining (and by extension Roc mining) is completely broken.
    It is absolutely miserable, compared to being able to scrape with a vulture or mine with a prospector.

    my biggest problem with roc mining is that roc is always get stuck in cuttie, this is freaking annoying. wheels are like buried into the floor

  • @Rhonys

    Is ROC mining strictly gems only? Is there any ore to mine and refine with a ROC for a larger payout?

    • @TheCoreGameplay
      @TheCoreGameplay  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's gems only, no refining

    Im on seraphim, i have 20 aphorite in the seraphim inventory and when I go to the terminal it shows it nowhere, what could be the problem? I just want this mining stamp and never do it again XDD

      If you go to your hanger, can you see it in the cargo elevator inventory? If you can, call it up the elevator and then send it back down again. Here is the bug workaround video th-cam.com/video/-L9GMS05iQY/w-d-xo.html

  • @Dshak347
    @Dshak347 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    These are ok but its not enough of a payout for all the work you did. 200k for all that mining and possibility of bugs with the Roc and possibility of pirates etc. All of that should have a bigger payout. CIG Im looking at you!

    Roc Mining step 1: wait for 4.0 to be decently stable. Everything you gain now, will be gone by the end of the year.
    Roc Mining step 2: Do everything that the video poster says.
