I’ve been panel salvaging out of HUR L1/L2 then hop on over the lorville to unload quickly with my ATLS that’s already in the hangar and sell at the TDD for ~500k a run (39 scu). That loop takes me 1hr if I’m going as fast as I can, up to 1.5 hr for casual pace. Edit: please for the love of all that is good, salvage it to 0%. I keep finding panels that have 1-3% left because they won’t despawn until it’s fully salvaged. Sincerely, Another salvager trying to make an honest living.
If you dont want to salvage down to 0% at least shoot the panels at least 3 times to despawn them. Its easy and dosent cause disappointment for other salvagers when the come upon ur salvaged panels🫡
@@nord_9586 that would be better in the end. I believe the main issue is people are not aware of that, followed by people don’t care. If those who are not aware but they care then we will see an in improvement in panel salvaging, not a complete resolution of the issue.
Ya kids shoot your panels to despawn them. There is nothing more disappointing than rolling up on a 24000 signal only to find all the panels already salvaged.
I like to salvage around Yela, just avoid OM-1s. Grab a unverified contract while I can, I prefer valkyrie, starfarrer, and hammerhead. No point in taking others. Abandon the contract if you know you won't make it in time just to ensure security won't agro on you, then you can take your sweet time. While there are no useful contracts I just go for plates around the same asteroid belt. You don't need to use OMs most of the time to travel and you have Orison to stash your RMC near, you don't need to sell after each time, so just saving time helps.
@Gazbeard any sources I can read on those? I've been debating on getting thr vulture but if we're getting something new next month I might as well wait
Never considered using the tractor beam to bring panels together so you don't lose them... that is a good tip. Another good tip is that you can see the percentage of remaining RMC shown for the targeted panel in salvage mode. Very useful to ensure you're getting the most from each panel. I have stopped salvaging recently as I am afraid we are going to get wiped (aUEC or ships, or both) for 4.0.
I like risk so i go over to the rings of Yela in my c2 fly out from an om park it then bring my vulture and get to work have not been found yet. I keep an eye on my coms while i scape it will show anyone that comes into coms range giving you a little time to pop smoke if needed. Not sure if the pannels are denser there but it seams like i find them more often and normally 5 to 6 in a location when i do.
Hola. Buen video. Buen video. Gracias y saludos.
this makes me regret ccu-ing my vulture. Before you had to unload the hopper ever three boxes, now you can do it all at once. It also didn't used to have a tractor beam which is super convenient
Orison is only paying out 12.2 to 12.4 per scu so not worth the extra hassle of flying in, so thanks for letting me know that you can offload @ grim as it means more time in the seat than on a sky shuttle
yo, your game runs hella nice, do you run some special settings or is it just the server and ur pc? (i bought SC a few years ago but im still pretty new so help plz :( )
I like this game loop because if the server 30ks you don't lose anything but time. I was trying to make money in the Hull C, which does work, but one single crash means im out 1.5m auec in supplies.
only issue is salvaging panels got nerfed and rmc collection got nerfed by 50% .... vulture is super broken and wont print rmc , mfds are horrible orange on orange very hard to read and hopper screen is bugged too
Huh. It looks like they increased what we get for RMC from panels. They greatly decreased it in 24.1 but if your video is any indicator they bumped it back up again.
My video is heavily edited so don't take it as an indicator. I cut a lot of things out especially when I fumble my words and just make it make sense when I edit the video
That's quite a lot of money for an hour of gameplay. So now I only need to grind for Vulture in game or buy it with USD. I should have bought Vulture instead of Zeus(
is it your home base? i have notice that first when i live in NB tdd doesn't work there but all others work and now i change orison and it doesn't work but NB does so i think least my problem is that can't sell home planet...
CIG already nerfed how much RMC you get from panels by nearly half. There are a lot of player who don’t get the verified salvage contracts unless they have somebody else share them.

@@nimblenutz6761 thanks for the tip! I know sometimes it’s time consuming to find the remainder 1-2% but shooting it would make things easier.
or devs easily can despawn below 5% after 30min for example, good luck for you changing other people

I never knew this was a thing. I'll start doing this. Yeah it feels real crappy to jump from point to point and they're all scraped already.
The best ships to buy in SC with real money are the ships that will make you lots of in game money.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day for this video, always enjoy your content.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like my videos :)
@@TheCoreGameplaygreat vid man, now is more easy to find panels?
Thank you, I knew the asteroid fields was the place to go but was having a hard time finding out how to get into one.
I concur, your content is great for the relaxing game loops, keep up the great work
Just in time! Just bought the Vulture in game and wanted to know how and what to do. Thx for this video.
the 9 Aaron halos are much easier to find now, since you can jump to Stanton directly... you can find the distances on cornerstone...
Looks simple enough, and your vids are always excellent quality, well narrated, sharp and clear audio. Kudos

Love your video guides dude thannk you 👍🙏
Will hold off until CIG releases an Argo salvaging ship. Doesn’t make sense that Drake had one first.
Looks like the next salvager release will be CNOU or Crusader - at IAE next month

The Yela asteroids have more panels, yes.
As usual a very helpful guide, thank you sooo much! Now I only have to collect enough money to buy a vulture ;) 👍

I personally like to offload the materials at Lorville.
Wait! Now you can salvage every box before extracting it? I haven't play in a while

Use all your cargo space. It's not hard to get 39 SCU (26 boxes + 13 in the hopper) worth of salvage material.
@TheCoregamplay My hud is a different color than yours and im not getting the emissions numbers anywhere. You are this live patch or PTU?
This is on live
Can you make a video about your video configs friend? i have a lot fog in my starcitizen and looks all cloudy.... thank you
Do these upgraded scrubbers work for the Reclaimer also?
The Reclaimer already comes with them installed (Abrade).

Question i had a bud do an ERT i showed up and could not salavage any of the ships anyone had that issue?
Thanks! Greets
Where do you rent a vulture?
i dont think it is available to rent but they can be purchased in game for 2.6mil auec at New deal Lorville.
Yea Orison is broken. Can't sell there. Cargo doesn't show in TDD.

@protoni6996 Yep. You're probably on to something. Orison is my home base.
I can sell anything at new babbage
I just wish I could sell the RMC 2 patches of cargo empire crap
Stop doing these videos... or chirs is killing salvaging like flightmodel
