    She was found in the passenger seat. And she was strapped in. Meaning she was already dead/unconcious, before she hit the water, otherwise she would have tried to save herself. So at the very least, it should have been ruled as a suspicious death, rather than undetermined.

      That’s a very good point I completely glanced over. I still don’t think it’s definitive proof against suicide, however. Although you’d imagine doing so in that manner strapped in the passenger seat would make it more difficult. Why wouldn’t she simply sit in the driver’s side? It all reeks of foul play

      If there was water in her lungs, she was alive. I hope she wasn’t. The fear and realization that you’re drowning and going to die terrified and alone is just beyond heartbreaking. Good morning, such a sad story for what looks to be a very beautiful person inside and out. I hope Justice will shine its face on finding some answers and resolving the mysteries.
      A possible Theory could be something as to where maybe someone else was driving the vehicle and ghost riding it in the water with her passed out drunk or on an overdose of some kind. Knowing where the driver seat position was could help, was it slid all the way back. I truly believe somebody ghost rode that vehicle into the water with her strapped in. Just my quick thoughts, no time to edit

    Olivia Lone Bear is another reminder that Native American women are unjustly ripped from the arms of loved ones and still suffer from lack of exposure as well as the importance to highlight the crimes committed against them. Olivia’s death is suspicious and it’s clear that she arrived home safely but was lured out by someone. I hope for the sake of her children and family that answers and justice come soon. • @kristimcgowandarkoscellard3126
    @kristimcgowandarkoscellard3126 2 ปีที่แล้ว +25

    If she didn’t have water in her lungs she didn’t drown and was therefore dead before she went into the water! Now what killed her before she went into the water is up for debate, but she absolutely died before going into the water!!! People don’t drown without water in the lungs, period! Even in dry drownings (when someone partially starts to drown but then is rescued from the water without seeking medical attention only to later die in their sleep from drowning) there is water in the lungs upon autopsy.

      You are incorrect, actually, water is very seldom found in the lungs of drowning victims, however, it is often found in the stomach. A small amount of water, particularly cold water, may induce vaso vagal reflex or cardiac arrest reflex, meaning it's very possible for drowning victims to die without inhaling water at all.

      Obviously you didn’t read my comment, I accounted for “dry drowning”. I know full well what it is as a child of friend died from this very thing. Young boys were roughhousing in the pool accidentally knocked a young man in the head who then proceeded to sink to the bottom of the pool. He was down there for a bit before they noticed and pulled him up. He regained consciousness and seemed fine, that night however he said he felt really tired went to sleep and never woke up. He was 10. We had never heard of “dry drowning” so no one knew just how dangerous this can be! Upon autopsy he had fluid in his lungs.

    Sounds like someone she knew killed her, as she was in the passenger seat with the seat belt on. So someone else was driving, and why would she be in her truck in the passenger seat with a stranger? I guess she could’ve been carjacked by a stranger, but why? And she was found in a local lake, so it probably wasn’t someone who wasn’t familiar to the area. I’d imagine she was strangled before the perpetrator put the truck in gear and sank her into the lake. I counted 6 kids total for her? Has the father(s) been investigated? Did she meet someone at the bar who wanted to meet up with her after she got home?

    So weird. Would she get into a truck with a stranger? She's driving a friends pickup truck, got home, changed clothes and was later found in a lake 21ft below the water with Olivia strapped in the passenger side of the truck. Was Olivia in the habit of picking up strange men? Why was she in the passenger side? No definitive cause of death, she's been in the water too long. Someone was driving that truck and knows something. Was the driver's side door open or the driver's side window open? Where is the lake located in relation to Olivia's home? Could Olivia have been taking drugs? Was she a soft heart easily taken advantage of? Too many questions. Poor thing. Poor kids.

    I would surmise two people left a bar in the truck, the driver then ran off the road into the water. The driver escaped, Olivia was not so lucky. Don't really see it as an act of violence, just a Ted Kennedy type act of someone evading responsibility for their impaired driving, which ended in a death. Strange that there is no mention of who owned the truck............

  • @jonfomaw756
    @jonfomaw756 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I would say they know who was driving and that person has connections or is local person in public office. Obviously the owner of car has lawyered up and there’s a gag order on their ID. Definitely a cover up of an inconvenient incident maybe involving drugs and alcohol. But I am puzzled that she went home and dropped all of her stuff off??! Maybe someone else dropped it off and she was outside dead in the car? So many possibilities 🤨

    Very sad story, my heart goes out to family. I really wonder where the position of the driver seat was, maybe there was a person driving it with long legs, and it was slid all the way back.
    My possible theory is that she was drugged or someone got hurt really drunk and high off some substances and ghost Road the vehicle into the water with her in it and it sank. She obviously did not drive herself out there and then climb over to the passenger seat and strap herself in.
    My hopes and prayers are with the family and the investigators. Such a loss

    Listen, they need to get a second autopsy for her. She was drinking that night..it is not far fetched to believe she accidentally drove her vehicle into the water...it DOES happen..especially if she isn't familiar with that certain area or if she took her eyes off the road for a second. Not every indigenous woman is murdered..I have two different tribes in my blood and they are the most prominent of my heritage more so than my Irish blood...so I'm not stereotyping here...but I do believe a 2nd autopsy should be performed because some coroner's get it wrong sometimes and there are more experienced ones out there to help. Just my opinion

    The truck belongs to someone! And if she was killed elsewhere, or drugged there's a motive behind it. I can't help feeling like the authorities are pushing this aside. There has to be DNA under her fingernails or elsewhere on her body. Especially if she was assaulted!
    From what I heard the truck was maybe a new acquaintance and then this person was at a place she usually goes to. Look for new faces in those places.
    Such a beautiful woman doesn't deserve this fate! And the correct person needs to be found. So much sorrow in this story.
