It's interesting to hear him talk about the love she had and gave because anytime I watch a video of them you could always see the love exuding out from them for each other. Not an ordinary love but something that told you it was a real, true, and pure love. The kind of love you don't often see. God bless them both.
I cried and prayed my heart out for Joey and the rest of your family. It broke my heart for the world to lose such a beautiful loving light such as hers. Now after years of praying for God to send someone to love me, my new husband who is the most loving gentle thoughtful man is fighting lung cancer. When he isn't around I cry my heart out. I was watching Joey sing "When I'm gone" and your beautiful memorial to a truly beautiful lady inside and out and sobbed so hard I didn't even hear him come home. Just sending love and prayers to all the people who were so blessed to be able to have such a beautiful soul in their lives. Hugs to you all.

Something drew me in early this morning to watch this and some other videos of Joey's beautiful angelic voice through songs. My dear sister-in-law who I have loved for over 36 years is on the verge of crossing over, and it hurts so much. Then I find that today was Joey's birthday, I don't believe this is a coincidence at all. Her spirit called upon the Lord to lead me and here I am. I love this message. Love goes on forever. Thank you, Joey.

The Lord made room for her in heaven with the rejoicing with the song angels sing. Heavenly music in which I'm sure you know the songs as you can hear her sing. This True love story has me balling. I did not know who they were until this past October. When I had seen a video of a woman playing with her daughter at the doctors I thought they were there for her daughter ( lord pls forgive me). I had no clue what battle she was fighting I just thought it was a BEAUTIFUL video of mother and daughter. Later on about November I started seeing head lines and things my friends had shared on Facebook about this family. It absolutely broke my heart. I knew then that she was the one who was there for that doctor visit that day I first watched their video. I felt horrible. Ever since then I have been checking on her and reading Rorys blog. I cannot imagine going through any of this. I have been in tears for days as if one of my own family members has passed. I really feel heartbroken for Rory and their daughter. But then I think about her faith in God and the love she had. I wish I could be more like her. She truly had faith in Jesus. And I believe thats what kept her here for those milestones back in feb. Such an inspiration. She makes me want to love my family more with every beat of my heart. This Family has made an impression on my heart and soul. I will never forget her and her husband and Indy. They are a great example of Gods love. If you truly believe in Jesus and follow him he will take care of you every step of the way. And I did not believe that until Joey and Rorys story. The message God wanted to bring from this is already reaching so many people. Even though I dont know you personally I love you Joey Rory And Indy. I pray that God keeps his arms around you all.

Such a tremendous loss. I too lost my beloved wife to cancer, I like Rory often asked The Lord to spare her and take me. I'm still trying to get a handle on my wife's death, some how I don/t think I will ever be able to deal with it, Every day I get up and try to deal with the loss, it has been 9 years now, and it hurts as bad as it did the day she died. If anything, things are worse now than it was the day she died. I am glad that Rory finds relief in talking about his loss. For me talking about her death actually makes things worse.

I was devastated when I heard of Joey’s passing. I followed this loving couple since Can You Duet. I always thought they would be a tremendous addition to the world of music. More than anything though I truly felt the love they shared. It was obvious a heart warming. I cannot imagine, even slightly, the loss you are feeling, Rory. Just save some of your favorite song to sing with Joey when you meet her in heaven. I pray that God has comforted you Rory, and will continue to do so until you join Joey in your mansion in Heaven. I remember seeing the interview that Bill Gaither had with Joey and Rory on his Homecoming show on television. It didn't take me long to realize that they were the REAL DEAL. By watching this video, I have a stronger and greater respect for Rory Feek. I would one day love to see him come to Cleveland to share his music with us,. I would love to shake his hand, hug his neck, and let him know that I love him in the Lord, and I have such a respect for him.
I truly hope Rory continues writing, he is such an amazing storyteller. I have been captivated by his writing in the blog entries, like millions of others. Real love is like that! There are those who have that kind of love in their marriage , but sad to say it’s not the majority. I lost my husband recently. We had a long life together raising four children and living to see our grandchildren grow up. Regardless of the years you had, they are never enough. When two truly become one it would be wonderful to go together. Especially if you have raised your family and even the grandkids are adults. But God has a plan and there is a reason I lost my sweet husband and was left behind. My husband missed making it to his 79th birthday by a few months and I am 76. God gave us a great life, but it’s so hard being the one left behind.

I would trade my life to let you have your beautiful wife back. I'm in so much pain right now from my serious surgeries that I've had. All I want to do is "close my eyes and never wake up!" What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful, faithful woman that was loved by a wonderful husband, children and so many fans. Thank you for sharing the journey with all of us. The family will continue to be in my prayers. May God's blessings surround them and keep them in his loving care.
My wife of 28 years was a beautiful woman she was taken from me from a disease called ALS I thank God everyday for the time that I had with her me and my wife loved these two Joey and Rory and I can feel his pain my wife was a preacher's daughter she brought me to the Lord she was my Saving Grace thank you my beautiful angel I will always remember you your touch your smile thank you for loving me what God loves me through all my mistakes you never gave up on me I love you baby girl
I don't know how much pain Joey had while being alive but you know now that God has taken her to a better place and now she's living pain free and always remember you will have an angel watching over you may God be with you all.
I feel so close to this as I lost my wife 4 days after our daughter turned 5. I realize she is in a better place but it still hurts and remains.
@kindinot Time doesn't heal when you're with the one you love unconditionally. My husband died 17.5 yrs ago, and time heals NOTHING....you never get over the hurt, the loss of love.....
Rory, your beautiful bride is now a beautiful angel and I know she'll be with you every step of the way for the rest of your blessed life. I think we all can learn a thing or two from Joey and Rory. The love and admiration they had for one another was palpable!

Truly beautiful. Just like Joey was. She was more than a great wife/mother/singer. Joey was a teacher. She reminded the world of love, grace and dignity. She taught us to be mindful of our own grace and dignity. She taught us to be humble. And renewed some of our faith in the Lord. You look at these two people and you can see real love.such a beautiful voice.i cried when I heard of her passing.you could see so much pain in that poor man's eyes. I wish the best to him and his family and they all meet joey again someday.
Cant say that Ive heard of the Feeks before Joeys untimely passing but then listened and watched their videos.Although their music is beautiful I was so impressed by their sincerity and honesty and their obvious love for each other.May God give you comfort.

This True love story has me balling. I did not know who they were until this past October. When I had seen a video of a woman playing with her daughter at the doctors I thought they were there for her daughter ( lord pls forgive me). I had no clue what battle she was fighting I just thought it was a BEAUTIFUL video of mother and daughter. Later on about November I started seeing head lines and things my friends had shared on Facebook about this family. It absolutely broke my heart. I knew then that she was the one who was there for that doctor visit that day I first watched their video. I felt horrible. Ever since then I have been checking on her and reading Rorys blog. I cannot imagine going through any of this. I have been in tears for days as if one of my own family members has passed. I really feel heartbroken for Rory and their daughter. But then I think about her faith in God and the love she had. I wish I could be more like her. She truly had faith in Jesus. And I believe thats what kept her here for those milestones back in feb. Such an inspiration. She makes me want to love my family more with every beat of my heart. This Family has made an impression on my heart and soul. I will never forget her and her husband and Indy. They are a great example of Gods love. If you truly believe in Jesus and follow him he will take care of you every step of the way. And I did not believe that until Joey and Rorys story. The message God wanted to bring from this is already reaching so many people. Even though I dont know you personally I love you Joey Rory And Indy. I pray that God keeps his arms around you all.

What a beautiful testament of life love and God .
Such a tremendous loss. I too lost my beloved wife to cancer, I like Rory often asked The Lord to spare her and take me. I'm still trying to get a handle on my wife's death, some how I don/t think I will ever be able to deal with it, Every day I get up and try to deal with the loss, it has been 9 years now, and it hurts as bad as it did the day she died. If anything, things are worse now than it was the day she died. I am glad that Rory finds relief in talking about his loss. For me talking about her death actually makes things worse.

Rory and Joey have been so open and forthcoming with their story, I believe, to help others with whatever battles they may be facing. It can't be easy, but they are selfless that way, and I for one have taken very valuable, faith based lessons from these two. Thank you Joey and Rory.
I was devastated when I heard of Joey’s passing. I followed this loving couple since Can You Duet. I always thought they would be a tremendous addition to the world of music. More than anything though I truly felt the love they shared. It was obvious a heart warming. I cannot imagine, even slightly, the loss you are feeling, Rory. Just save some of your favorite song to sing with Joey when you meet her in heaven. I pray that God has comforted you Rory, and will continue to do so until you join Joey in your mansion in Heaven. I remember seeing the interview that Bill Gaither had with Joey and Rory on his Homecoming show on television. It didn't take me long to realize that they were the REAL DEAL. By watching this video, I have a stronger and greater respect for Rory Feek. I would one day love to see him come to Cleveland to share his music with us,. I would love to shake his hand, hug his neck, and let him know that I love him in the Lord, and I have such a respect for him.

Real love is like that! There are those who have that kind of love in their marriage , but sad to say it’s not the majority. I lost my husband recently. We had a long life together raising four children and living to see our grandchildren grow up. Regardless of the years you had, they are never enough. When two truly become one it would be wonderful to go together. Especially if you have raised your family and even the grandkids are adults. But God has a plan and there is a reason I lost my sweet husband and was left behind. My husband missed making it to his 79th birthday by a few months and I am 76. God gave us a great life, but it’s so hard being the one left behind.

I would trade my life to let you have your beautiful wife back. I'm in so much pain right now from my serious surgeries that I've had. All I want to do is "close my eyes and never wake up!" I'm here all alone, living out of my small truck as I have for the last 20 years living on the streets. My tears are flooding down my face. My older gurl (4-legged) knows when I'm crying and sad, she always comes to me to let me know, it's ok Daddy.....

I'm so sorry Rory to hear this. I kept prayers going for Joey as I did for my sister. Who sadly lost her battle with cancer a few weeks before Christmas. It all touched me deeply and, to imagine the similarities between them and what a horrific storm it's been. Like my sister, Joey too is with her lord and savior. My thoughts and continued prayers are with you and your family, may God give you strength and comfort in the days to come.
