The sweet spot was in the last five minutes. I have been searching for a new career for almost two months now with the goal of doing what God wants for me moving forward. My mother is In Her late 80s
So we took one trip to barn to hear him sing & then after her stroke we took a trip to Branson I had to tell him that the school house really is a blessing to the elderly also my mother watches it and just loves his music

This reminds me of 30years ago when I met a man Jerry Bridges in a little African town KwaMhlanga. I bought his book The Persute of Holiness and my story unfolded. My wife today says that even my Cancer has not stopped me being obsessed with Jesus. I started a Urbsn Farm last year and its hard, but O, how we experience Gods grace. Love from South Africa.😇🤗🙏🇿🇦

The Holy Word of God instructs us that marriage ends at death........ we or no one else gets to change that.
@@jeffparkinson5005 I agree. But there's a grieving process; some get over it quickly (a little too quickly, perhaps), and others take much longer. I can see the longer ones a testimony of just how much love was shared.
Rory it’s so good to see you and I’ve been with you and Joey since the beginning ,saw you and Joey at the restaurant ,she was so sweet and waited on us and I was so excited to see her I forgot to get a picture with her and I wanted to cry but when we came back a few years later after Joey passed away well I meant I was going to get a picture of you Rory,well it was my sisters birthday and it was 5 sisters and my husband that drove us from Brownsville ,Tn so sweet of him but Rory I have a picture of all of us with you and I want to thank you ,my sister died of cancer in 2020 so the picture is special 🥰
Been following Joey and Rory's journey for a long time. The loss of Joey was heartbreaking but so heartwarming to see Rory continue their legacy of love and faith. I love what you said at the end of video, 'it's getting dark out there,so go out there and glow' Shining light into darkness is something we all need to remember to do. Wow, it has been a long time since I was listening to Rory Feek and his family. God took an angel home Rory's wife it was a very sad day. The day Indy saw what it takes to process a chicken and the expressions on her face. Or watching Rory watch Indy going to school on her own and Rory peeking on her so she would make it to school. Time has passed and Indy is now 8 years old and going to be in third grade. I would have been upset if they did not have goats, but when Rory said little goat was born that makes the farm. The garden should have all the vegetables, but some people may not have time and that is okay. Imagine stepping out the back porch watching the sunset or sunrise. The colors all around and hearing the birds sing their songs for us to hear. Having the warm breeze wisp past our face and some may drift off as they close their eyes and think about the past. Simplicity at its best and so far, away. Watching Rory being interviewed reminded what is important, growing roses and the fragrance of each one. Being able to cut and give to someone to brighten their day. Or having to taste the first home grown tomato so juicy and awesome. Homesteading can mean many things to many different people, never heard to do something hard. That is something to think about and do, so Rory is getting the message out there about do for others as God wants us to, but for many there is too much negative and fear. Blessings to all.

I followed Joey and Rory for years, read his blogs then his TH-cam channel. My heart broke when Joey passed on, i fell in love with Indiana and watch everything about this family whenever it’s posted. If you haven’t seen To Joey with Love, you need too. My dream is to meet Indy one day.
Rory is absolutely an amazing individual and his story is nothing short of amazing too. And Rory my niece has downs and if only we could all live and see life the way they do. Children with downs see no evil only happiness and goodness in everyone and everything! They are naturals at living the kind of life that we strive to live and comes much harder for the rest of us.
God Bless Rory & family. My heart aches everyday missing Joey. We have lived the homesteading. Now we are elderly & can't. I miss my garden and canning. We still have chickens for eggs only now.
Ultimately all we really need to know in life is how to love, purify water, grow food, cook & build. Unfortunately we don't learn that in regular schools. Love what they do there at the homestead. ❤️

Sometimes it seems a challenge to balance bravery to challenge ourselves to new things with the wisdom to not sow on poor soil but if we first seek His Kingdom, wait on Jesus, listen, and obey, then we can have the peace that He is writing our story.

Wonderful interview! I so related to Rory saying that it was his and Joey's anniversary rather than it would have been. My husband recently passed away, and I felt the same way on our anniversary. Blessings!
What a beautiful story, beautiful home and land, beautiful voices, beautiful looks in the entire family, and beautiful giftedness! Truly.
While I enjoy seeing God's goodness and graciousness and loveliness in the lives of others (plus it's like a beautiful love story) I must remind myself that I and many others don't have loads of outward beauty in my physical appearance, home, property, etc. for various reasons. The underside of my weaving is so ugly that likely none envy me. [Christa, that poem is entitled "The Weaver"]
Remember... Christ said, "The last shall be first".
Paul must have been very ugly by scars and distortions from his numerous beatings and death and near death experiences. I don't think he every time had his bones set aright and wounds stitched by plastic surgeons when left for dead.
It's important that if you're like me with not much to offer in the eyes of the world, you understand we're just as precious in the eyes of the Lord! He will turn our ashes into beauty!
We ought to be thankful and faithful with what he has given each of us, be it 10 talents, 5 talents or only one.
Then we will hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter ye into the joy of the LORD." In that day, that which was worked into us through trust and obedience to Him will be unveiled in us. Then shall we common folk be beautiful! 🥰

I remember joey asking me if I would buy their property so glad they made it through together...that was through the last recession... I miss my friend her legend and love still moves the hearts of people.

What a beautiful interviewer, her smile so bright and her interest and joy while interviewing Mr. Feek.
Her spirituality was so refreshing, we are in need of the love of Jesus Christ and of those will share their trust in Him.
Mr. Feek is this same type of person. Indie is a fortunate little girl to have her schooling in the Little One Room Schoolhouse. A place to learn in peace and joy. The school system in general now days is not a healthy place to learn, like teachers being forced to teach things little children or older don't need to have in their minds.
Mrs. Feek while watching over her family is so proud of her dear precious husband.
I enjoy hearing everything about the Feels, they speak my language of what the good life is.
And!!!my favorite song to listen to is "What If,". I listen to it everyday morning and night for an innocent mind relaxer.

I wish that our community had a 1 room schoolhouse to service the children in our community in a very special way. What a blessing it is that Rory has opened a such a special school in their community.

They were only married 2002 to 2016 which was 14 years. Not 20.

I love his explanation about sacrificing this world on the altar, basically, and live intentionally to follow a dream that's ours even if we aren't the one holding the blueprint and engineering it. I love the part about yesterday being his and Joey's anniversary and how even though she is not here anymore, it is still their anniversary. I've been married for 45 years and although my husband has been with Jesus for 5 years now, I am married to him and it's nice to hear that Rory sees it the same way. I enjoyed the video very much!!
