I'm Faren. I big chopped in April 2013. I have medium to low porosity hair, that is super dense at the crown. My haircare regimen includes washing my hair at least once a week, regular treatments (protein, olaplex and bond salve) and trims every 3 months on blown out hair. I won't lie. I want to use curls and straight but I can't afford using the products you use. It's like 100 bucks for 5 straightening sessions. I love the result you got. It looks divine ❤🎉

Your hair is super gorgeous. I have kinky, kinky 4c hair, so I really want to try this product. I also think I’ll have to use higher than 380 degrees. My hair will not even move with that. I think with this new Color Wow Extreme, I might Chi, another heat protector and turn the 380 up a notch. Thank you for sharing.

i squeeze products into my hair too, especially when i feel that my hair "needs" it - i think it makes a positive difference.
you should see me when i blow dry my hair - once every SEVERAL YEARS...(yep, that's why you never see it) 😂🤣

Hello, I used the original one on my daughter's hair. I followed the directions exactly and I used thin partings. This product is awesome, and I use it every time I flat iron her hair. The only tweak I do now is I spray a little extra heat protectant on her damp hair and then the product over top of it, so it is the last product before blow drying. I do this so I can use a higher heat setting on the blow dryer and flat iron.
Good to know! I'm always afraid of mixing products the first time I try it, but I definitely need added heat protection

I tried the OG version but it didn't work on my hair. You're hair looks great on day 3. Especially in this heat! I have to try the extra strength version. TFS

Beautiful results! Did your curls revert once you shampooed your hair?
Thank you! They came back about 90% after the first wash (most of my hair fully reverted but I had some pieces that still looked stringy), and 3 washes later my hair has fully reverted.

It's the Dyson Corrale. The cord can either attach direct to the tool, or into the stand that holds the straightener. I just always opt for the stand

How did it work out with your ReVair reversed air hair dryer? I just bought the stuff and I don't have any other type of dryer.
Same here...I think I made the mistake of using other products first the last time. I will use extra strength this time with my RevAir.
Does someone have to flat iron the hair for this to work?? Like what if you just want it blow dried enough but not bone staright?
No, the tension and the blowdryer heat should be enough

I have this and it doesn’t work for me, the first day is fine but then after that my hair feels brittle, wavy and dry. I don’t think I like it and I’ve only tried it once 😞
That’s unfortunate! Did you try the original one, maybe the extra strength was too much for your hair
Is this product fir blow drying only? I am looking for something that will coat my strands for diffusing a wash n go.
I wouldn't suggest using it for diffusing a wash and go since the directions say that you should use tension....I know they have a Dream Coat for curly hair that is supposed to make your hair frizz free but I haven't tried it.
