Man, you must’ve been crazy inspired by that amp because I think this is the coolest thing I’ve ever heard you just throw on a TH-cam channel. That is my new favorite opener you’ve done so far and you have made some sweet, sweet music for us man!

This amp kicks ass. Dave kinda found the perfect ecological slot for it. 20 W physical size amp, not too many controls, a couple of toggles that transform the few controls to a couple of really good different sounds. And the nature of the amp is just great. It's that stadium Marshall tone that you can take anywhere from gigs to studio and it fits if you can't think of something really personal tones.
I have no idea where you dredge the emotion and tone from for every single video. Outstanding work all around.
Pete's sense of melodic development is a super strong part of these demo videos. Thanks Pete, this helped turn my day around.

I accidentally started this video on 1.5x, and Pete's so damned good it took me a minute to realize the tempo of the intro song was not, in fact, 180bpm. Always a pleasure to listen to and watch this man play guitar.

No video has made me want to buy an amp more than this. I'm a EVH fan and having an amp that gets me into that territory without a 100w 4x12 amp nor spending several grand just gets me pumped. Versatility is my only concern because I do have to play clean stuff. But Pete, you just kill it with this little bugger!
If you want the ultimate VH tones at bedroom volume levels than the below is the only choice . Marshall needs to bring back their AWESOME 50th anniversary 1 watt amps or Friedman needs to make an ALL TUBE 1 watt amp because they would sell tens of millions year in year out . 20 watt amps are still WAY WAY too loud for bedroom jamming .
The current Marshall DSL 1 WATT sucks compared to the JMP and JCM 1 watt models . th-cam.com/video/M276pkb80s4/w-d-xo.html

It's amazing how far tube amps have come since the 60s. Much more versatile, more reliable, better sounding.

Sounds fantastic, and kind of oddly, all the reviews I've looked at for this amp sound fantastic. Looks like a huge winner. I want one!
Pete blends techniques and phrasing you might hear from Lifeson, Thayil, EVH, Zappa, Tabor, May, Satriani and Vai- yet remains a unique player onto himself. The amp sounds pretty great to play through- these tones remind me alot of Cantrell also.
Finally a Friedman I can get behind. They're mostly a little too perfect, too refined for my tastes. Like a Marshall with all the character ironed out of it. This one has some o that snarl that was missing in my opinion. Could still be a tad messier, but it's a good middle ground between old and new. Loving that bridge pickup Pete. Sounds wicked.

This amps sounds great. I really like hotrodded Marshalls but I don't like it to be overcompressed like a lot of those hotrodded Marshall-like amps do. This one doesn't sound too compressed and 20 watts is a big plus!

Wow Pete you are so talented and hope you release an album of music. I would buy a copy! Love the Pink Taco but if I could only buy one Friedman amp it would be the BE-50 or BE-100 Deluxe. That along with a Diezel Herbert and Bogner Ecstasy and Revv Generator.

I wish all of Friedman's amps were this bright. Having the aggressive top end like this always sounds better to me on every amp.
Whoa. That entire thing was fire but the bends starting around 0:55 and then up to that final alternating note bend on the last fret hits you in the feels.

Taco Tuesday! Awesome playing through an awesome amp. And thanks for demoing some clean tones. Dave's amps seem so often reviewed for the dirty stuff, but they pack some of my favorite clean tones too.

5:48 this is one of the closest I've ever heard anything come to sounding like Ed's tone on the live version of Unchained from 1981 is Oakland
The V1 gets a good VH tone as well. I have the PT-20 mini combo and love the small size and monster tone.

Glad you made the decision to start demoing more amps! Your ability to dial in great tones is pretty exceptional (on top of the kick ass, nuanced playing) and seeing you do these kinds of vids is like getting an education on the field, noice!
I really love guitar amplifiers, so it’s nice to be able to try different ones, it’s a learning process for me and there’s only so many pedals out there that you can do, what about the things that we plug the pedals into? Also, Siri doesn’t understand petals and wants to say pet holes pedal to the With A de de DD With A, D With A, D.

You're a great guitar player.
I always notice Pete that your guitars are always smudge free, you apparently wipe them down often as I do my guitars. There's nothing worse than looking at a beautiful guitar and seeing fingerprints and smudges all over it especially if you're under the lights.
I personally believe that wiping down my strings extends the life of them and keeps me sounding good.

You can get some great classic blues tones with the amplifier too not everything is high gain here there’s so much more available with the volume now 5:17

That intro song was spectacular...almost an Iron Maiden gallop rhythm. You need to add some lyrics and sell it to one of the cute Japanese All-Female Metal Bands. Reminds me of a Pat Benatar/Neil Geraldo tune from the 1980s. Major Hollywood Hair Metal Band tones with a touch of Def Leopard magic in that Pink Taco Mk II Friedman Amp.

Great Video, I really enjoy playing Van Halen and a lot of other 80's bands. Your playing is stellar as usual, I really like to hear you jamming with this amp, I think this is what I've been looking for. I just purchased the Pink Taco V2 Combo version today, traded in my EVH Iconic 40w Combo for this. The EVH was pretty good for an inexpensive tube amp, but not like this bad boy at all, I can't wait for it to be delivered.
