It's neat to look back and see how Harmon had original designs to have Abed and Jeff in a close friendship and Pierce and Troy in another. Though, I'm guessing it didn't take long to see the chemistry between Danny and Donald. Also, how Jeff and Annie end up being the "will they/won't they" couple instead of Jeff and Britta.

I wish the creator of the show and Chevy didn’t have beef because when the show just started out pierce actually had a purpose as a kind of father figure for Jeff and giving life advice when needed while also being good for a few old person jokes, but later he just became a old racist dick, which while he was that in the beginning, they kicked that into overdrive and removed any point for him besides being a one note piece of shit.

so many great memories with these characters and this show, too bad most people didn't get it we didn't deserve this show, and yet we were lucky enough to get it, thx to the people running this channel for keeping this "community" (pun intended) alive

i'm a bit younger than the show's main demographic (i'm 16 lol) and i remember just randomly finding it on netflix when quarantine started. it was so good and i finished it within about two weeks or so. so while i wasn't there to watch episodes when the show was on air, it has easily become one of my favorite shows ever and seeing a community of ppl in the comments resonating with the same inside jokes from the series is so great :) p.s. pop pop!
Pierce actually has the best character development /written in tv sitcom he went from leading to being the one who cares about the school more then others and sees the school as he was given a second chance.
So I get how some of this video was edited for maximum emotional resonance (i.e. Troy's final lines being wrong so it could be his goodbye with the group or Chang being the last character because he has the last line of the last season). All the same though: - You got several final lines wrong (i.e. Troy and Duncan) - A few characters didn't get entries despite clearly being present in the video (Frankie, Elroy, and Hickey) - Some of the side characters got their last lines in but not their first (i.e. Leonard, Todd) - The order doesn't make sense, you've got the main cast spread intermittently throughout instead of building up to them. That said if you wanted to end with the last line of the show, shouldn't the video have started with the Dean since he had the first lines? Nothing to do with canonicity, just which lines have more substance and impact on the actual show. I mean, the end credits occasionally call back to earlier in the episode but it's usually just a passing nod, nothing substantive. They're not counting canonicity, they just are specifically just not counting end credits scenes, I don't know why you're nitpicking like this.
end credit scenes count, its the last lines said by community characters, which is the topic of the video. It doesn't say by the actors, or from the show, it says from the characters. So this means the first and last lines they say during the timeline. If their last line was on such and such a day, even if you have flashbacks or something that isn't the last in the timeline. After credit scenes count if they were said as the last in the timeline. If there are future scenes THOSE would be the last lines of the characters. There is a huge difference between the last lines said by the actors, and the last lines said by the characters. EVERYTHING counts with the characters except imagined or made up scenes just like Definitely said. Imagined conversations like Jeff had, lines that weren't shown or said by the actual characters like the case with the Dean and Shirley, etc aren't factored in.
Annie and Jeff's ending was literally too cute. 🥺 Britta and Jeff never made sense to me, they are ok friends with benefits, but didn't even have 1% of chemistry annie and jeff had
